I LOVE my living room!!!
So I know my taste doesn't fit everyone...in fact...I am sure my taste might be one of a kind.
But I am really loving how our family room is turning out.
The carpet made a HUGE difference, which by the way was actually finished today, and it is the greatest.
(Along with the office getting carpeted too, not for free, but a really good deal anyway.)
But this is the room we are ALWAYS in!
And I feel like it is very ME! Well, us.
Brent and I love old things.
But most of all we love old things from our family.
This picture only shows a few things that I LOVE about this room!
Like I said, this isn't everyones cup of tea, maybe a little too cluttery, maybe too 'old',
BUT WE LOVE IT!!!
I can't wait to add the curtains that I have in my head...they will be perfect!
If I tried to explain it to you, you would think I was dumb...so I will wait to show....
So here you go, a bit of our living quarters...you like it???
I think it's cozy!

We LOVE bike rides!!!
The Young's called this morning and invited us to go ride bikes on the greenbelt.
The Young's take good care of us.
Brent and I don't have bikes, and they rounded some up for us and had a trailer for us to borrow to drag our babies along!
So we traveled downtown and rode bikes on the greenbelt.
It was so much fun!
At one point Porter wasn't too happy, but that is just because he was tired, and I am not sure how much Elsie was bugging him in the bike trailer!!!
(Yes, sometimes sweet little Elsie is kinda mean)
After the ride we had a picnic and played int he park...
then went to the big fountain and got a little wet...
Then we went and fed ducks, and seagulls and geese...
The kids had a blast doing that!!!
So Brent and I decided we need bikes.
It was so much fun to get out as a family and do something active!
Thanks Young's for inviting us along!
Feeding the ducks
Goose eating from Cassi's hand
(Don't you love the look on her face?!)
My sweet big boy!

We LOVE Emmy!!!!

We LOVED all our visitors, of course...

Grandma and Grandpa Peterson, Ariel, Sara, Sean, Russell, Bradley, Samantha, and baby Sean.

But there is just something about having Emily around.

Elsie didn't leave her side for both days that she was here.

When Elsie woke up this morning, she wanted to make sure Emmy was still here.

When she awoke from her nap this afternoon, she wanted to know where Emmy was, and was pretty sad when she found out she left!!! (Don't worry, goodbyes were said before nap time!!!)

We LOVE you Emmy!!!

Elsie doesn't LOVE the bus.......YET!!!
So she rode the bus today.
She didn't like riding the bus.
Which is understandable...here I am sending her on this monstrous yellow thing with two complete strangers...what could she even be thinking!!!
I felt so bad and called Brent at work, he suggested to go meet her at school, to make sure she was okay.
On the way to the school a song came on the radio.
As I got close to the school I hear this verse,
And when he drops her off at preschool,
she's clinging to his leg.
The teacher peels her off of him,
He says what can I do?
She says "Now don't ya worry,
This will only last a week or two."
It won't be like this for long.
One day soon you'll drop her off and she
won't even know your gone.
This phase is gonna fly by, if you can just hold on.
It won't be like this for long.
I was about in tears!!!
I tried to stay back once I got to the school, to see how she would do.
But I could hear her from the car, crying....
So I got out and met her at the bus, where she gripped my neck with a death grip, until she realized she was at school.
Well, after that, she couldn't get to the class fast enough.
I was so happy that the traumatic bus trip didn't ruin her love of school!
And I wondered if I should send her home on the bus.
I finally decided just to have them try, so I called and told them to try to put her on, but if there were problems, to call me and I could come get her.
Well, she arrived home on the bus, and she had a big smile on her face.
They said she cried at first, but calmed down quickly.
I am so happy.
She was really flushed and super hot, which I assume is because of the bus being hot.
But she was so excited to talk to me about school.
But again, she was completely exhausted, so she ate some lunch and she has been sleeping now for over 3 hours!!!
I am so proud of her.
I love this little bug.
I can't believe she is growing so fast!

Elsie LOVES school!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my goodness!
Elsie had such a great day at school.
She did so good!
She had no problems...except getting her diaper changed, she didn't like that, and she got scared on the slide one time...
But other than that, she had so much fun!!!
We are so proud of her and so excited for this new world that she gets to explore!!!
We plan to put her on the bus tomorrow and she seems to be very excited!
Hopefully it goes well!!!
I picked her up from school and she didn't stop talking the whole way home!
She talked about her snacks and coloring and playing and her friends, and the toys, everything!
This is going to be so great for her!
Can't you just feel her excitement!!!

I am so excited to see how she will learn and grow this year!
She's just not my baby girl anymore!!!

(This is her goofy shot...like the big girls. The other day when I took their pictures they wanted to point like they saw the bus coming...I know...crazy kids!!! Anyway, so first thing when AI took Elsie out this is what she did, she pointed like she saw the bus...she is falling as she is doing it, but I couldn't stop laughing...it was so cute!)

I LOVE (HATE) to watch them grow up!!!
Oh man...
Time is just going too fast.
Cassi rode the bus for the first time today, and loved every minute of it!!!
When did she grow up!!!

Porter, hanging with Elsie, watching out the window to wait for the bus... isn't he too little for that???

And Elsie...my dear sweet Elsie went to her preschool open house to meet her teacher today and she had so much fun. She is just going to love it. First day tomorrow! She's excited, I'm a little sad!

That dang Porter!!!
Crawling up the stairs for the first time today!
How in the world am I gonna do anything now!
All three girls in school, but I am left chasing this BOY all day long!!!

And Madi.

Dear sweet Madi. When did she get so big! Madi had to come home from school today for not feeling good and she had a small temp. Hopefully a good nights sleep will help her out!!! (p.s. who likes her bag???)

Someone tell my kids to stop growing!!!
