Saturday August 1

The day started out early for all of us.
Dad, Port and I left about 7:30 to go to the penitentiary to help with an Eagle scout project for a kid in our ward.
We were gonna take everyone, but then Madi got a babysitting job.
She left about the same time we did.
She babysat the Fuhrimans all day until about 7!
So then we decided to leave Cassi to take care of Elsie and take Porter with us.
It was a great morning.
I wish I took more pictures.
The project was to build a new walkway for wheelchair access to the old penitentiary.
They pulled out the old one and then they fixed some plumbing stuff because the water kept flooding into the building.
Dad worked hard with the guys to figure out how to get attached into the existing pipe there.
They did an awesome job.
The job got finished around noon.
There was a good turnout too.
I am glad we were able to go.
Dad loves to work on that kind of stuff!
Port was a pretty good helper.
Towards the end he had fun building with some scrap wood and nails.
At times we had so many people to help, but not enough work to do.
We picked up garbage and pulled weeds.
The place looked pretty good when we left.
We walked a bit around the penitentiary once we were done with the project.
Then when we got home we rested for a little bit then did some cleaning up because we had planned to have guests over for dinner.
The Halls just moved here.
We are pretty excited about it.
So Justin's mom is sisters with Cindy, Dave's wife (Brent's brother).
Justin used to come to Wyoming to visit cousins and Brent used to go with Dave's family to Arizona to visit Justin's family.
So they have lots of good memories together.
So their cute family just moved here.
They have two little boys, ages 6 and 4 and then a 7 week old little baby girl.
So much fun.
So they came for dinner and then we swam and had root beer floats.
It was a fun night....I hope they had fun too :)
