This is the progress we made today on the deck.
We had to take a bit of a break because of the heat.
Gave us time to actually have dinner at a good time....get the little kids to bed at a good time.
And look, I am blogging before 10:00!
But we do plan to go and finish it up in a little bit when the sun is down a little lower.
We may have had a bit of heat exhaustion going on earlier today.
So the break was much needed.
I am so excited with how it is looking.
It is gonna be so great.
We will be cutting part of the edge that is hanging off.
I think we will still have about a foot hanging over the edge.

It was Cassi's turn to make us a treat tonight.
She made some peanut butter cookies, cause that's Dad's favorite :)
And she wrote this great little not to stick into the mound of cookies.
