Saturday June 20

I picked about three cups of raspberries today!!!!

Awesome!!!

Elsie rode her bike to miles today!

She was not very into it and I barely had her a quarter of a mile until Vern was like, can I ride with you???

So she joined us and we did to miles!

When we got home I made a teaching chart with 150 spots to fill in....it will look pretty cool when it's all filled out!

I'm proud of her for this goal!

I went for a run.

Only 4 miles, but it was so hot and I didn't drink a ton yesterday since we were driving, so I think I was kind of dehydrated.

It was a rough run, but I did it.

I helped Elsie get her clothes put away.

Madi and Logan went swimming with Porter and Cannon.

Cassi had some friends over to watch a movie, and they are leaving now.

Kinda sad not to have dad with us tomorrow for father's day...... But we have some fun plans for him ❤️

Friday June 19

We got up today, packed our stuff up, ate breakfast then checked out of the hotel.

We decided to go for a hike and I found one up Farmington canyon.

It was a great hike.

About 4 miles round trip.

About 1 mile in, Elsie wanted to quit....

But with some song singing and a spot where we find internet connection so she could FaceTime Carley for a minute, we got her to go another mile.

The trail after that got pretty rocky.

Madi stayed behind and hung out with Elsie while we hiked to the waterfall.

It was a really cool waterfall and I'm glad we decided to go all the way in.

Madi was a good sport to volunteer to stay behind....

We did pass by a rattle snake that shook his rattle at is, that want so cool.

But we got by him and continued down the mountain.

I love hiking and I want to do it more.

The mountains are my happy place.

Lagoon was fun, but the hike made the trip for me ❤️

We ate lunch at Costa vida before we started the drive home.

We had a few more stops than we would have liked because we have a little bit who likes to drink, but has a small bladder!!!

But we finally made it home.

We stopped by the shingle place to check out my shingle selection, and it seemed really light, lighter than I wanted.

So Dad called the guy and he met up with us at a house that was recently shingled in the same color and I am so glad I checked because I really didn't like it!

Too much variation in color, just not what I wanted at all!

So we are going to play it safe and go with onyx black, which is what the roof is now.

And I know I like it now, so why change anyway!!!!

It's good to be home.

Now we need to get back in the groove... Or I guess start up a summer groove.

I would love to have a better schedule than what we have going on.

What better time to start than now 👍🏻

Thursday June 18 (add pictures from big girls)

Oh it has been such a fun day!

Our weather was just perfect.

We got to Lagoon right when it opened, and we were able to get right on the big rides.

It for her a lot busier later in the day, but we got on all the rides we wanted to.

Except the skycoaster, that I've you had to reserve a time and there were no times left when we tried to reserve ☹️

Oh well.

Towards the end of the day we did the race cars.

They kept stopping us because of hard hits...a lot of the troubles happened because of Porter.

Not his fault though... His car, we found out after the run, had a popped tire!

I started behind him the whole time because it would stop going and I had to push him from the back to get going again.

It was a bummer....and dad did end up getting refunded for that ride, so that was good. 

It was still fun anyway.

We stayed until it closed at 8, then went to the habit for dinner.

And back so the hotel, we hopped in the hot tub.

We have some VERY tired people, but it sure was fun.

I also ran into my friend Ashlee Boysen, who I haven't seen for like 5 years!

We saw her oldest son, but then I got a text from her that said she saw me... So we found eachother.

So that was fun ❤️

Wednesday June 17

We see here in Utah now.

Left in good time this morning.

Made it to Springville to meet up with my family at 3.

Spent time there playing and snacking.

Sweet little Naomi is my cute little buddy.

When asked where her mommy was, she would point to Ariel.

But if you asked where her mom was, she pointed to me ❤️

Such a little cutie!!!

She's like Ariel's mini me, she looks just like Ariel when she was a little one!

And Elsie and Emmy got to take a walk together, which Elsie was so excited about!

We left there and meet up with the Halls for dinner.

They didn't tell the kids that they were meeting up with us, and sweet Evie was so excited when she saw us!!!

The boys were so excited too!

Oh we miss them so much!

I'm so glad we got to see them ❤️

Then we drive back to Farmington where we have a hotel right next to lagoon.

Everyone is excited about tomorrow.

The pool was open, so the kids went and swam a little bit.

It's pretty late, but lagoon doesn't open until 11, so the kiddos can sleep in a little.

Tuesday June 16

Nothing much happened today.

Carley came over and Elsie and her hung out with Cassi.

Cassi is getting paid to babysit Carley once a week, which will work out perfectly for all three girls!

Dad and I did some grocery shopping.

I did laundry and we all packed for our trip 👍🏻

Monday June 15

Elsie got to go to PT today.

She was a good sport until Katie wanted to with on jumping.

Elsie does not *think* she can jump/hop.

So she did down everytime we try.

Well today, I used some bribery and then I used some threats 😉

And she gave it a try.

It took a couple times... But she got in the air!

Holding Katie's hands, but not much help.

It was awesome!

I told her we need to practice and do at least one jump every day!

This evening Cassi got to go help Aubree at the Distinguished Young Woman event.

Cassi came home and could not stop taking about it.

She was so proud of Aubree and had so much fun watching her.

Aubree won third place along with some awesome scholarship money.

Cassi said she can't wait until she can do it!!!

Sunday June 14

WE had a nice home church today.

Dad had to leave to work, which is always a bummer...

We talked about trusting in the Lord's plan and turning our will over to him.

Our will is the ONLY thing we have that we can give to the Lord.

We did our Come, Follow Me.

The kiddos did some art after that and I took a nap.

My body was pretty tired.

I slept last night, but pretty restlessly.....

I woke up and Logan made dinner with Cassi and I helping out.

After dinner we went to the park.

Elsie rode 2 miles on her bike!

Yay!

She has a goal of riding 150 miles before November 15!

That is at least a mile a day, so if she can do two miles every now and then, she can get some wiggle room.

I was so proud of her!

Hopefully she isn't too sore tomorrow.

We are hoping to try and make a trip to Lagoon this week.....still need to figure out everyone's schedules before me make for-sure plans....

Should be fun though :)

Saturday June 13

We all slept in this rainy Saturday morning.

Lots and lots of rain!

Port and dad made a hanger/plaque for his dagger.

Looks pretty cool in his room 😁

I had a stake leadership YW meeting for YW leaders.

It was fun to see Jenni on there!

It was such a great training.

Then I decided to go for a little run.

I planned to run maybe 5 or 6.... But it felt good so I decided to do 10.

Mile 7, I was feeling good, weather was great, my pace was good.... So I'm like, "heck, why not just run my half marathon today!"

So I did!!!

I am really happy with how it went.

I ran it in 1hr 48min.

I had hoped for about an 8:20 mile... But i got 8:14!!!

Yay!

Anyway, I'm happy it's over, proud of myself and really sore and a little hungry.

See the problem is I want planning on a long run, so I didn't feel properly.

I came home ready to EAT but felt like it would either come up or out... One way or the other.

So I haven't eaten much.

But I'm looking forward to breakfast. 😋

Dad took the kiddos out to dinner, except Cassi.

She had to work a long shift today.

When they got home, Elsie and I had a stake YW broadcast meeting, which was also really good.

We got in the hot tub for a little bit after that, loosening my muscles.

So now I'm just waiting for Cassi to get home from work..... And thinking if what I will eat for breakfast!!!
