I LOVE every square inch of this little boy!!!

How could you NOT!!!

Anyway....

My little boy has been sleeping through the night for the past week, even while camping!!!

What a champ!!!

I miss our 4:00 a.m. date...

But he is ready for some big snuggles at about 6:30...

Porter is starting to sit up really good. I still don't leave him alone...he likes to throw his head back.

Porter has two teeth, and I know more are coming, cause he is a total slobber machine!!!

He eats so good.

Not a big surprise, right?

He melts my heart!

We LOVE beautiful places...

I photograph people.

Not scenery.

So my scenery shots are never good.

Here is the best your gonna get from our trip to Southern Idaho.

But believe me, it was beautiful.

We stayed at 1000 Springs outside Hagerman Idaho.

Along the snake river.

We wanted to badly to get to the other side to check out the beautiful springs...there were so many of them and so much green...just beautiful!

But it just ended up being a long drive all the way back to where we came from.

Oh well.

It was a pretty drive too.

Driving through those small towns makes it very tempting to move to a small town and have such beautiful acreage and some farm animals!!!

So we had a great time.

And it was so pretty.

Thanks to the Young family too...we had a great trip!

We LOVE Idaho!!!

We are so blessed to have so many great friends, neighbors, ward members, grocery store clerks.

Everyone!

Everyone in Idaho is so great.

The first thing we noticed about Idaho when we moved here, was how great the people are!!!

Since we have moved here we have been blessed to be in awesome ward families.

The best of neighbors.

And most of all the best of friends.

We really feel so lucky!

We thought maybe it was just a fluke when we moved to our first house...

but the same luck followed us when we moved to this house!

It is just the people of Idaho!

They are all great!!!

I love 'before and afters'

I wish I had a real before picture.
But I didn't think about it until I had already started it.

So, on my way to the gym one day I saw these ugly green chairs sitting out with someones garbage.

I drove by.

I kept thinking, 'Brent will be so mad at me if I bring more junk into his garage!!!'

BUT...

I had to get them.

They were good shape, except the color, and they both had wicker seats that were in bad shape.

But I got them.

One for Madi's desk.

One for Cassi's.

Madi's looks so great with her desk...I love it.

They have wheels on them, which Madi loves, but I am trying to talk her out of it.

If she wants to keep them, I will paint them too...we'll see.

And Cassi's' will be cut down to fit better under her table.

That is why the feet are still green.

It also goes great in her room.

Brent cut the seats to fit...I padded and covered them.

Wa-la...two free chairs!

We LOVE old stuff!

Both Brent and I.

We love old stuff.

We love stuff that has history.

Most of the old stuff we have comes from within our family, and we love the stories that go along with them.

Today we happened upon a pretty cool yard sale.

With old stuff.

Which we LOVE, remember!

Brent found this sewing machine...from the 1890's...

Isn't it beautiful.

The best part, it fits in the sewing table I have from my grandma.

Perfect.

We found some great stuff, and would like to back tomorrow, without the kids!!!

I found another trunk...that is also something I am obsessed with.

Some books also dating back to the 1890.

Beautiful books.

Old stuff is great.

We sure LOVE her!

This is what Madi made for her teacher Mrs. Caminiti.

She is very proud of it and we all think it turned out so cute!

It is a magnet board, and she made three magnets for it.

One with her name, she burned that into the wood with what we call a 'burn pen'.

Another magnet with a picture of Mrs. Caminiti...and the last with a heart.

Good job Madi...I bet she is gonna LOVE it!
