81 days left...

Madi took a picture of my belly with her camera. I keep thinking how FAR AWAY it is until I have this little guy...but really I have so much to do before he gets here! First and foremost...finding a NAME for the poor guy!!!
I have to make his bedding cause I have this idea in my head that I just can't find anywhere, so I am gonna do it myself. And yes, there is still a blanket, unfinished, that I gave to Madi for Christmas 3 years ago!!! But in my defense, it doesn't match her stuff anymore, so I figure I have until Elsie shares a room with Cassi, cause it is the one that matches Cassi's bedding! (But if anyone wants to come to my house for a quilting party, I am sure we can get it done really fast!!!)
Anyway! I have Halloween costumes to worry about...I want to get my Christmas shopping done so I don't have to do it with a newborn. Finish painting the walls in my living room so I can finally put all my pictures back up! Anyway, so I have plenty to do...but I just want to have him here!

Cassi's first soccer game!!!

Cassi game was later on today. The first half of the game went great...then things went a little downhill. We aren't too sure what happened. She was doing so awesome...getting on the ball, having fun, she scored a goal, then completely broke down. I don't know if it had to do with so many people around, a little over-whelming, or that she was playing with some very aggressive little boys. Once she got pushed down and run over, that was the end...there was no getting her back. Brent did a very good job trying to reason with her, but we had gone past the point of no return. But she did do awesome for the time she played. I think maybe she will be a little better prepared next time, now that she knows what to expect in the game. Good job, Cassi.

Madi's first soccer game

Madi had her first game this morning. Well, I should say Madi and Dad had their first game! Brent is Madi's coach this year...and boy is he having a blast!!! Too bad he has a job...or he would have these kids practicing every day!!!
They did a good job. A few girls on the team have never played soccer before...but they did very well. This year is different from how Madi played last year...now they have goalies, a referee, and a lot more technical rules. So the girls are still learning all that stuff...can't wait for more practices and more games!!!
Great job THUNDER GIRLS!!!
Cassi's game is later on today...so I will do a post about that after she plays!

Pictures of Cassi

Cassi's birthday is in November, and I always do birthday pictures for her...but never end up ordering any. With Madi and Elsie's birthday's so close to each other, I always get theirs ordered and out to Grandmas...I think the most updated pictures the Grandmas have of Cassi is her 2 year old picture! So I decided to take her out and do some pictures today so I can order hers with the other girls! Anyway, she was very good and had a lot of fun! This first one is my favorite, but there are a ton that I love! Anyway, enjoy.

(This is another one in the running for the fav.)

She had fun jumping off the trunk...goofy kid!
And of course she wanted 'Earthshake' pictures like Madi had...

Beautiful, beautiful brown eyes!

Birthday Dinner

We went out last night for Madi's birthday Dinner. She chose to go to Red Robin.
We had a lot of fun. Of course Madi brought along her camera...I don't know where she gets that from?????

Then we got Yummy sundaes! MMM!

Swimming

Yesterday we decided to go swimming...since the swim season is ending and the pool is gonna close soon. Then I realized I hadn't taken any pictures at the pool this year...crazy, I know! All my girls just LOVE the water! Madi is an awesome swimmer, and Cassi is following right along!

I am not sure of the technical terms for swimming...but I do know she is coming up for a breathe in this one...
I believe I am correct with saying this is the backstroke.
Cassi has never been very afraid of the water!
Elsie...kick, kick, kicking...
Cassi swimming. She has done really good this year and has even learned how to come up for breath and then keep on swimming. It is pretty sad that my kids can swim better than me!!!
Elsie loves the water SO MUCH!!!
Anyway, just a perfect day at the pool!

Party at the Station

Madi wanted cinnamon rolls for her birthday instead of birthday cake...so they helped me make them...cinnamon rolls usually take a long time...but it takes a little bit longer when little hands are helping. But they did have SO much fun!!!

Elsie woke up while we were doing it and was happy to help out!

Madi's giant Cinnamon roll Birthday cake!

We went to the Fire Station, cause Brent was on duty. So we took a bunch of Cinnamon rolls for the guys. And the girls got to play around.
The one thing Madi asked for her birthday was a camera. Well, those kid-proof cameras are almost $80, and they are pretty low in resolution. So I did some shopping around and thought I found a pretty good deal...well, when I went to the store they had this one on clearance for $50...can't beat that!!! She was so excited!

Brent took the girls up into the bucket of the Firetruck...they are pretty lucky...there are still tons of Firemen who haven't even got to go up in the bucket!

They got pretty high until the girls told Brent that they had gone high enough...this is my shot of them in the bucket...
And this is Madi's shot from the bucket of Elsie and me, with Madi's very own camera!

I think Elsie felt a little left out!

So Daddy took her up, until she thought it was high enough.

But she loves the Firetrucks!!!

These are a couple shots that Madi took with her camera...I am telling you...she's got an eye!
I think this one is pretty cool!

It was a fun party at the Fire Station!
