Thursday January 4

Late night again last night..........
But we were all up by 9 this morning, which will be 6 Hawaii time.
Dad and I went to the gym.
Then we got a call from Bubble and Eldon to come down and have the kids eat down the tree.
This is something they are excited about and look forward to every year!
Such a fun tradition with Bubble!
They were heading to McCall this afternoon and wanted to get it down before they left.
The kids did a good job of taking it all off the tree!
Elsie's favorite....licking the melted jolly ranchers in the center of the star cookies :)
And of course, they always have fresh cookies and treats for the grownups to eat that haven't been hanging on the tree.
Koy and Titan were over playing, so they got to join us too.
After that, we came home and ate lunch :)
Then Elsie went to Sierra's house to hang out.
The boys played all day long.
I am so excited.....but also terrified for them to all grow up together!!!!!!!!
This afternoon they played out in the field with the smoldering field fire from the other day.
Brent also flew Porter's rocket with them, which they thought was pretty great.
Dad got the itch to take out the old tub and bring in the corner soaker.
He still needs to put the plumbing to it, and we need to fix up the wall.
But that will be a great thing to get done when we get back!
A real working bathtub will be so great to have!!!!!!!
And he is gonna put a laundry chute in there for me too!
Does that make me lazy.....or brilliant????
Madi had a date this evening and Cassi went to hang with friends.
Dad and I and the little ones took the Morgan's van to the airport to leave it there for them.
They fly in at 12:30 tonight.
Yay!
We get to see them for one day before we head out!
The kids have been saying all day "Tomorrow we can say that 'tomorrow we are going to Hawaii' " :)
It is getting real, people!!!!!!
No, we are not yet packed.
That is what we will get done tomorrow.
But clothes are washed, and sorted and ready to get folded up and packed away.

Just wait until you see what we have planned......
