A Farewell to President Hinckley

The girls had a great idea. They each drew a picture and sent it up 'to heaven' to President Hinckley. He was such a wonderful man and Prophet. He will be missed.

That is so cute. I can't believe your kids thought of that. You taught them well Kim. There are so many kids today who have no compassion for others. Good idea!

What a great idea girls. You are such great thinkers. Kara wanted to know if the letters can really get to Heaven on balloons??

Want to trade weather? Morgan has not been able to go outside at school for 5 days in a row because it has been below zero all day. Nice picture Madi!

Sara...I believe she got the idea from when we sent balloons off to Nicholas...she was old enough to remember that. She was only a couple months old when you had him...but she still remembers him and talks about Russell big brother.

What a wonderful idea. That is so sweet that your girls thought of that. What a good mom you are to act on their feelings and let them express themselves the way they wanted to. Thanks for sharing.

Your girls are so thoughtful, and you are a great mom for following through with their idea. I would probably have said, "great idea, but let's just draw the pictures". No wonder they are so creative.

You guys need to stop giving me credit for 'being such a great mom'...it was Brent the whole time....first of all they were his birthday balloons that his nephew sent to him at the fire station...that's a funny story...anyway, and he helped them tie them on and sent them out the door, the only thing I should get the credit for is taking the picture!

What a fun idea! :) I saw a fire truck go by and I looked real hard to see if I could see Brent in there. hehehe It was close to our neighborhood...so I thought maybe. :)
