How to have a successful sleepover...

We had a sleepover last night with some of my girls best friends in the whole world, Kara and Aubree...they have all known each other their whole life!!! Anyway...we had a great time so I thought I would give some tips on how to have a great sleepover!
First and foremost...you must dress-up...they even got Elsie into a little ballerina outfit.
Then you make and eat pumpkin cookies...mmmm....
B.F.F!!!!
Then you make them get dressed again and you take them to the nearest Redbox
where they picked out...you guessed it...Island Princess!
But before they can watch it...they have to get in the jammies and brush their teeth.
Madi and Aubree thought it was so cool that they had the same toothbrush!
Then you snuggle up for the movie

BUT WAIT...what about the midnight snack...(just kidding Heather, it was just after 8:00) But they were STARVING!!! So we had a bowl of cheerios. (I asked Aubree why she looked so sad for the picture and she said it was because she just put a bite into her mouth...)
Then back to brushing our teeth again!

They all fell asleep very well, Kara was the first to go out, and Cassi was the last, but no problems the whole night!

When they woke up, they wanted to watch Island Princess while I got their pancakes ready
Then they had pancakes for their breakfast...then back to playing dress-ups and house for a few hours until Drew and Heather came to get the girls and ruined the fun!!! No, we really had a fun time. Thanks Kara and Aubree for sleeping over!

Kim, thank you again so much for having the girls over. They had so much fun. I promise we will return the favor. And thank you for posting fun pictures. You are great! And hey, Mom's are supposed to ruin the fun, Sometimes...

What a blast. You are such a fun mom. Thanks for the tips. Do you think a boy sleepover could go as smoothly? Maybe a different redbox selection, but I have a feeling teenage mutuant ninja turtles would not calm the boys down for the evening!
