Friday November 5

I surprised Cassi early this morning and kidnapped her to take her to Oregon to have a birthday weekend with Winnie and Madi ❤️

We had a nice drive. 

Dad got everything taken care off at home with Elsie and Porter. 

And the rest of the day we have just been chilling and loving on Winnie!

We went to Mod pizza for dinner and stayed and laughed and chatted for over two hours 😂

Good times ❤️

Thursday November 4

Elsie was so tired today!!!!!!

She slept until almost 11!!!

And then she was super sleepy and didn’t with super hard in school 😞

Which just means extra work over the weekend!!!

I went for a nice run today. 

It was windy and cold so I waited a little bit before I went. 

It was warmer and less windy….. but it rained on me 😂😂

Oh well. 

It was still good. 

Port had wrestling meet today. 

He only had one match and he went hard. 

He is looking really good and strong!

He ended up getting pinned but it took much longer than it did the other times. 

He’s going against kids who have been doing it for many years. 

I’m proud of him ❤️

 

Wednesday November 3

Elsie had her eye checkup this morning, so she had to miss seminary. 

We were hoping the eye drops wouldn’t be as hard as they ALWAYS are……we were wrong!!!

I don’t blame her, I hate eye drops. 

So she couldn’t really do school the rest of the day because her eyes were dilated. 

We worked on health/goal setting assignment. 

That goal was to upload her artwork and send them to Madi because Madi wanted to add them to her website. 

So we got that done. 

They look really good in the digital version 👍🏼

Dad did a lot of animal stuff outside…. Moving the cows to the other field. 

Then moving the water trough etc.

It was ports first wrestling match today!

It was a lot of fun to watch!

They went against heritage and they are REALLY GOOD!

He had two matches, he got pinned the first one.

But the second one it took a while, and he was doing real well!

He did end up getting pinned. 

He actually kneed himself in the nose, so that hurt him pretty bad 😬

He has another meet tomorrow. 

This evening, everyone left for YW/YM. 

I stayed home and started some laundry, to the garbage out and chilled by myself. 

 

Tuesday November 2

Dad has his helicopter training today in the choppers. 

He said everyone went great. 

He has been working so hard to prepare for this class and I’m so glad the weather turned out great for him and that everything went good 👍🏼 

I had my MRI early this morning. 

Then school with Elsie…. Had some fun in our art class time.

Don’t know if it will work, but fun to try. 

And I also ran while she had her lunchtime. 

This evening dad and I went to our ARP meeting ❤️

It was a great night and I never regret when we get to go!

We talked about step 9 and making restitutions. 

There were a couple of new faces, or at least faces that haven’t been in a long time. 

Such a special place to be. 

Sweet Winnie…..I miss her so much ❤️

Monday November 1

Okay.

I have been chastised and threatened by Dussy boy because of my lack of blogging.

So here I am, making a better attempt.

The sad thing is, my family and I actually look back at the years of posts and we love it.

So I don't want to mess that up!!!!!

Especially when we have Winnie memories to remember!!!!!

Okay.....so I will update the whole month of October.

But as for today....

I am in the process of redoing Cassi's bedroom for her birthday.

I can't believe that girl will be 18!!!!

Elsie had her schooling......it is going.

I wish it was more like last year.

I feel like we would be making more progress.

But she is still learning.

I gave the missionaries a ride to the store this morning so they could grocery shop.

And I am working on editing pictures too.....

That is pretty much the day.

Dad has been prepping to teach his helicopter training.

Today he did the in class stuff and tomorrow he gets to fly.

He loves when they get to go up there.

Hopefully it will be good weather for him.

Tomorrow I got get another MRI.

I am still having the same issues, not letting up at all, and went to another neuro (second opinion) and she ordered for imaging to check on one spot and to also see if there are any changes since my last one in April-ish.

So we will see.

Such a pretty pretty baby 💗

Friday October 1 - Tuesday October 5

 Okay, so I am not doing very good with blogging, am I???

Here is an adorable picture of Winnie to make up for it ❤️

Friday wasn't too eventful....just trying to get Elsie to get schoolwork done.

Cass went to the football game, Dad was at work.

Saturday was the first day of General conference.

We enjoyed the sessions and the kids played with the clay and made some fun things.

I got the stain started on the kitchen bricks.

Sunday, Dad came home from work and we enjoyed Conference together.

In the evening we went outside and played with the dogs.

Dad, Elsie and I took a little walk.

Port, Cass, and Dad tossed the football.

It was a nice night.

Monday morning Cass and Port had no school

Cassi invited me to go and help her paint her senior parking spot.

We painted a hole, like the pavement was broken....it turned out fun.

Then I got Elsie going on school stuff, with Dad helping her.

I put the mortar stuff on the bricks and got a fun look.

I think we are happy with how it turned out.

Today, Dad trimmed it out.

Elsie worked hard on school.

We started her paper making unit  

So fun!

School was good  

She is so much better with Dad around.

Oh ya, and before that, I went for a little run when Port left for school.

I got stung in the head by a wasp!!!!!

It still hurts!!!

Okay so....school etc.

Then Cass and I went and watched Dear Evan Hansen.

Sje wanted to see it but didn;t want to go alone, so we got to hang out again!

Two days in a row hanging out with Cass!

Yay!

Tonight we had our ARP meeting and it was really great.
