We think we're gonna LOVE this!!!
So we caved!!!
I think everyone in the world has one of these.
While visiting with my sister, they had a Wii....
So we played.
It was kinda addicting.
So while browsing Craigslist today...Brent found an awesome deal...
It would have been TOTALLY irresponsible to turn it down!!!
So we are now proud owners of a Wii.
Oh, and while telling the story to Elsie's PT...
She says that it is awesome when used for therapy...
That is just the kind of parents we are...
Anything for our kids...
he he he

If you can't tell, I am trying to catch up...I will fill those empty ones soon!

We LOVE the Holdaway's!!!
We love staying at my sisters house when we visit.
The kids are always busy together...we never have to take care of them!
Nothing better than that, right???
But really...this time we almost couldn't stay with them...
They had the SWINE FLU at their house just before our visit.
I know.
Poor guys.
They were quarantined for a week.
Poor guys.
But I am so glad that they had a clean bill of health and we could stay there with them!
Love ya Steph, and fam!!!

We LOVE to work together as a family!
We gathered together as a family for a little FHE.
We worked on getting Lexi Sue's play house finished!
Brent's family is full of such hard workers.
I just love it.
We had a great dinner that Aunt Cindy made...mmmm...
And then we got to work.
I just loved the look of Grandma and Grandpas feet dangling down.
So cute!
MMMMMM!!!!!
Elsie getting loves from Grandma...
While Grandpa supervises the building.
Madi being a big help with Porter so I can help out with the playhouse.
She sure is a good girl!

I caught Elsie sneaking a few chips....

Cassi was on the go playing the whole time...so there weren't any pictures of her!

We LOVE hiking!!!
While in Evanston, Brent decided to take us to Name Rock.
We all had so much fun...
Once we found the trail.
Thank goodness I made Cassi change out of her flip flops!!!
The kids had so much fun!

We just love doing things like this together!
We really need to do it more often!
We need to explore Boise and see what it has to offer.
I know there are tons to do here...
so if anyone has any cool hiking spots they go to,
let me know about it!
This is Brent's carving from years ago of his initials...
I made it better....

Better, right?

Madi Bell, making her mark.
We all carved our initials into the sandstone.
So much fun.

We drove around for a long time trying to find the trail...
When Brent though the had found it...but wasn't for sure, he took the two big girls and walked around to see.
I sat in the truck with my babies...
and took pictures of course!!!

We LOVE twin-er (kinda) cousins!!!
Our niece Brooke had her little boy, Bridger, just a couple weeks before we had Porter.
It still amazes me how much these guys are alike!!!
Same mannerisms...
They look so much a like!!!
Those Matthews genes are very strong!!!
these little boys are gonna be such good buddies!

I LOVE that my little girl and my big boy are almost the same size!!!
Elsie has always been more on the petite size...
So to have such a big boy is kinda fun!!!
I have no doubt that he will pass her in size pretty soon...
I am pretty sure they already weigh the same!
Anyway...
I also love how these two play with each other.
Elsie has so much fun with him!!!
****************************************************************
Also...
I was reading another blog today and I finally figured out what is wrong with me.
She was talking about having DADD.
Decorating Attention Deficit Disorder...with an inability to finish things!!!
(Also...the inability to get ANY housework done!!!)
Seriously...I have so many projects to do.
I have so many projects that are almost finished!!!
AHHHHH!!!!
Anyway...here is one I almost finished today.
Some bedside tables for Madi's bed...which is also unfinished!!!

No update tonight!!!
I can't believe how many pictures there are for me to post!
It is overwhelming!!!
And I am gonna go running!

I LOVE when good old friends come to visit!!!
The Salisbury's are here!!!
They are great friends of ours that moved away to Minnesota way too long ago...
We are still waiting for them to move back!!!
We has a fun little get together with some friends and had a great time....
With many many loud children!!!
But so much fun!!!
They are really great people who will always be great friends to us...
*************************************************
Then later on...
Like after 10:00
Brent took the big girls out to the garage and had a little dart practice with his dart blow gun.
Those girls had such a great time!!!
There are some pretty funny shots.
I love the one of Cassi staring at Brent while he is giving them instructions,
Madi's proud face when she shot the can,
And how Brent is so proud that his girls love the things he loves!!!
Oh...catching up tomorrow!!!
Anyone believe me???

I LOVE that my big girls always include Elsie!!!
What was on today's agenda???
Well, Princess Elsie was having her hair done by her royal hairdresser, Madi...
While being fed applesauce by her royal servant, Cassi.
It was all very sweet!!!
And I can't believe that Elsie let Madi put so many ponytails in!!!
I am lucky when I get one!!!
I guess I should use the 'princess' trick!!!
But really, Madi and Cassi are always very good about including Elsie!
They are good girls!***********************************************************
On another note...
I am postponing the vacation post AGAIN!!!
All the kids are still awake,
my house is a disaster,
And Brent, along with all the other guys at the fire station, was sent home with food poisoning...
I will try my best to catch up tomorrow!!!

I LOVE it when I make it through the day after vacation...
I almost have....
You know how the day after you get back from vacation is always BAD!!!
I will post about our vacation tomorrow...I promise!!!
I gotta get some sleep!
(as soon as those other three are sleeping!!!)

note: after I took this picture of Cassi...I went downstairs to do the dishes, Brent called and I talked to him and then I hear footsteps and it was Cassi coming in the kitchen, crying.
She was sleep walking.
Cassi has ALWAYS been a sleepwalker.
Does anyone else have a sleepwalker???
