Friday May 11 (add Father/Son camping pictures)

Porter was student of the month this month.
His teacher keeps it a surprise, so the kids don't know when it is their turn.
He might have had a suspicion when we were there.....but I told him we were there to support Graham, cause he was student of the month too for his class :)
He didn't believe me....

Anyway, I loved the things Mrs. Nuuvali said about Porter:
Porter is a hard worker in our class room.
He is one of the first people to say thank you and is always willing to help when needed.
He is very responsible by getting all of his school work done AND by following directions.
Sometimes we have a hard time doing that in our class.
But he is always following directions.
And he is a friend to everyone in the classroom and he always keeps us smiling.

So many great things she said about our boy :)
The things we want most for our kids is to be hard-working, responsible, and kind.
Looks like Porter is doing a good job at all that.
After that, we went to the store to get a few things for the Father/son campout tonight.
It was gloomy and rainy outside, so we actually watched a show together :)
Then I helped him get the stuff packed in the trailer and then I headed to school and picked Porter up early.
The boys headed off camping around 2.
Porter has been so excited!!!!!
When they called tonight, he was so excited.
He just loves time like this with his Dad :)
Cassi had a babysitting job tonight and Madi cleaned up her art room.
Elsie and I went to the school carnival.
We hung out with Sierra most of the time.
Elsie had fun playing games and she won some cupcakes at the cake walk.
We also saw a pretty great magic show!
It was a pretty fun night.
