Saturday October 26

We woke up and got everything packed up and headed out to Evanston around 11....we stopped at the University mall the switch the helicopter Dad bought at Provo Towne mall yesterday....
It was not a good one.....something was not good with it....so he switched it for a different model.
And it works...so he is happy :)
He was just going to return it, but it took forever for them to try and figure out their credit card thing (it was in a kiosk)....after about 30 minutes, Brent just decided to switch it.
Then after grabbing some food, we were off.
In our two separate vehicles.
I was nervous about driving the Tahoe and trailer.....but the car we bought from Emmy was a stick shift.
Which I haven't driven for over 10 years probably!
But I decided I was more comfortable with the stick shift....and it came back to me quick....and I think I drove it pretty smoothly :)
I think the car is gonna be great to have!
Thanks Em :)
There was a race as we headed towards Provo canyon...so a lot of slowing down and then they had the road blocked off down to just one direction....so that took time.
Then up a little further, they were doing road work and it was shut down to one just one direction.
So we sat for probably 45 minutes waiting for our turn to go.
When we finally passed through, Cassi counted over 150 cars waiting to do in the other direction.
Pain.
But then it was smooth sailing the rest of the way to Evanston.
It was so good to get here and see Grandma and Grandpa.
Kay and Johnny stopped by for a little bit.
It was the funeral service for Johnny's mom.
I am glad we were able to see them.
She always has sweet talks with my big girls and gives them great advice.
Thanks Kay :)
Brandon and Britt stopped by too.
Haven't seen them in a very long time.
The boys all played and we talked and it was a nice time.
Then we just all relaxed.
Had some good talks.
Also, Dad set up the new TV for Grandma.
It looks pretty nice.
She doesn't think she needs it.....and she is probably right.
But she sure will enjoy it!
On our trip to Utah, we stopped in the Burley Dollar Tree.
We found an awesome little gift for Gramps and the kids were pretty excited to get it for him.
I think he liked it :)
We are so happy Grandma is feeling better.
We are spending the night at Dave's house though.....keep things quiet and less stressful for Grandma.
Dave and Cindy went to Montana for Coppers baby blessing....so they said the house was free for the using :)
Grandma wanted us to stay with her of course....
But we said we would make it back in time for breakfast and a nice hot cup of chocolate milk.
