Friday February 17

It was a beautiful funeral service today.
So many emotions to feel.
What an amazing little boy.
What a beautiful and perfect little spirit.
Brooke and Brad were amazing.
Such pillar of strength and faith they have.
I felt them pull everyone through today's services.
Brad spoke as part of the service.
He told of memories of little Weston.
Of his strength and courage.
I wish I had a recording of all Brad said.
He did such an amazing job of lifting everyone up.....
His testimony of the gospel and the promise of a forever family.
My favorite story he told was at the end.
He said that Weston's most favorite place to be....the only place he was calm....was facing out the window staring right at the sun.
They would take turns holding him and facing him towards the sun.
Brad said that they believe that was the closest thing Weston could find to resemble the face of his Heavenly Father.
See...I just can't say it the way Brad did.
What an amazing comfort it is to know of Gods eternal plan.
To know that they will hold that little one again someday.
I am grateful to Brad and Brooke for sharing such an emotional and intimate day with so many who love them and their little boys.
They are an amazing family.
*****
Art the cemetery, they let a bunch of balloons go.
Little Bridger was so excited.
He knew these balloons were for baby Weston.
He was so happy to send them off.
It was a very special and spiritual and emotional exhausting day.
I am glad we got to be a part of it.

*****
After the burial and luncheon, we hopped in the car and headed to Evanston.
The little boy was excited to help out at Grandpas store.
He also got an unexpected fun surprise.
IN a bag of hand-me-down clothes, there was this coat that was originally Dussy boys....then handed down to Nancy's boys.
Now it is our little boys.
Cute little Carhart coat with Grandpas store name on it.
This was a happy boy when he saw it!
Just like Grandpas :)

He and Cassi had fun helpingout for the few minutes we had before closing time.
But they will be back, hard at work, tomorrow.

Speaking of tomorrow....
Kind of a big day planned for Elsie Rose.
Riding Strip....of course!
AND
Grandma keeps telling Elsie about the Buffalos here....so we are gonna go check them out.
She is beyond excited.
