Big day and NOT a bruise!

So guess what...
My hubby made it home to me on my birthday.
Only not in the best shape.
He was on shift today and dislocated his shoulder...
How many of you guys can say your husband would dislocate his shoulder just to spend your birthday with you???
Ha ha...really, he didn't mean to.
But it was still fun to have him home.
I had already made brownies for a friend so we used the leftovers for a make-shift birthday cake...
Brent threw this together...look close...3 candles for the 3...and a votive for the 0...
Get it...3-0...yep, I am old, officially!
I had a great day filled with tons of LOVE from family and friends!
I even got to talk to my Grandma and Grandad...we haven't talked forever!
I need to call them more often!
And Thanks to Jenni for bringing me lunch AND dinner!
And taking Cassi for the whole afternoon.
She had SO MUCH FUN!

Elsie got home from school with a black and blue eye.
I was a little worried...

Until I looked in her bag where they leave notes for me saying that they had been potato stamping and she rubbed some ink in her eye...Pretty convincing black eye though!

*I am Thankful to have so many wonderful people in my life. I wish I could individually thank all those who make my life so wonderful!!! But there is just too many!!!

*I am Thankful that Brent came home...just wish he wasn't injured!!!

*I am Thankful to be an OLD WOMAN now!!! Okay, I know I am not old...it is just so crazy...I am THIRTY!!! cRaZy!

Thank you to EVERYONE for the sweet birthday wishes!!!

Happy Birthday Kim! And can I just say that you are NOT old!!!?!! Because I don't want to be old, and I'm half a decade OLDER than you are! But, crossing 30 does seem monumental, or at least it did until I crossed it. So, now that it is behind you, just keep being the fun, YOUNG mom that you ARE. Numbers don't change anything. Except that you are ONE amazing woman, with ONE amazing husband, and FOUR amazing kids...and those 5 numbers DO change EVERYTHING! Happy Birthday and I Love you!

I am so glad you had a great day and that Brent got to come home (sorry about the shoulder though). I wish I would have run down to bring you your present even though we canceled the picts! That's okay, tomorrow! Can you believe we are 30? I swear we were jumping on my trampoline and eating bags of chips for breakfast like 10 days ago!!! Love you :)

I hope you had a great birthday! What a great person you are...there have been so many instances that I have known you that I have seen your true character (would you know people watch you?) You are amazing. Thanks so much for being willing to bring a meal the other night...even on your birthday! You are awesome and are a wonderful person!

"Remember when...thirty was so old?, now lookin' back, it was just a stepin' stone..." I love that song. Isn't is crazy how OLD thirty used to be and now it's really not...
