Milk PLEEEEASE!!!

We have learned a lot of sign language at our house...
Elsie still uses a few signs on a daily basis.
Please, Thank you, More, I Love You, Mouse(for Mickey Mouse Playhouse), STOP, and many more.
She has adapted a few for herself...like the MILK sign...she raises her hand above her head and squeezes her hand...not far off the correct sign...
Well, Porter has caught onto it and he fiercely squeezes those fists above his head like no body's business!
He has also had his first word...well, besides GRUNTING...seriously...the boy grunts!
But in the last week or so...he has been saying EEESS...
I thought for sure he was saying please...how could that NOT be his first word in such a polite household! (ha ha)
But no...nope....he is saying THIS...and points to whatever it is he wants...
I think it is just adorable...no matter how he says it!
In bad news...my hernia is back.
I had it with the last two pregnancies...but it always went away after I had the baby...so I never did anything about it...well, just my luck, it's here again! I have an appointment in a few days to figure out the next step!
***********************************
*I am thankful for water...I have drank so much today...and I can already tell a difference!
*I am thankful that my little kids say personal prayers...they are so sweet and so real.
*I am thankful for my treadmill so I can still run on the days Brent is working!

sign language is so amazing!!
When Julie had her first daughter the doctors said she would be deaf, so we learned as much sign language as we could... Luckily the doctors were wrong! But I find myself still using much of what I learned.

Too cute! And I am impressed that you have the patience to teach it to your sweet little kids. I am sorry about the hernia, I feel your pain, I feel like the more kids I have the more my body is falling apart!! I feel like the book that the kid thinks his body is falling apart, ha ha!
