We are home!!!

Saturday April 19

Just bullet points tonight....

It was a long busy day and I am so tired, and there are still Easter bunny responsibilities to do!

*Easter Egg hunt in town...without dad....

*Manure draggin' in the Tractor

*Ditch burnin'

*Cowboy hat wearing...

*Strip Riding

*Elsie not wanting to ride Strip

*Elsie super tired and grumpy and worn out

*Barrel racing

*Tiny 4-wheelin' with a couple wrecks in the ditch....

*LOTS of yard work with Dave and Cindy

*Gramps thinking he can dump all the junk in the dumpster himself...

*Easter Egg dying

*Oh wait....we had to wait for the Easter eggs to boil first :)

*Then Easter egg dying

*And early to bed!

Man what a day.

It was great and they were all exhausted!

 

Friday April 18

We got packed up and left Emmy's house this morning and headed to Evanston.

It was a good morning with Emmy....

We had a great visit there.

Thanks Em for putting up with all of our noise and mess making :)

We sure love staying with you!

We got to Evanston just before lunch.

Dad went to the store to help out Gramps and the rest of us hung out with Grandma.

We had lots and lots of cousins to play with and visit with.

Taylor and Morgan are visiting from Montana....and Morgan's friend Emmy visiting with them.

Kenna's boys were there at Dussy boys house.

And sweet Lexi was back and forth from her Grandmas house, hanging out with us.

Cassi got to go up to 'Name Rock' with all the girl cousins.

(Technically, they are her cousins kids.....)

She had a fun time and said that Uncle Doug almost got them lost :)

Elsie convinced Grandma that we needed Mac and Cheese for dinner.

That girl is so spoiled!

Then after dinner we got some more homework done.

And now they are all off to bed because we have an Easter Egg hunt to go to in the morning!

Okay....so according to Dussy Boy, he says that I have been too negative and sarcastic when I speak of Dads dump truck.

I told him I don't know HOW that is EVEN possible.

I DEARLY love that dump truck and I am THANKFUL every day for it AND for EVERYTHING that I am when I am WITH it!

(How's that Dus? Do I redeem myself?)

 

Thursday April 17

It was a pretty great day.

We started out by all the kids getting some homework done.

Then in the afternoon we headed to the MOA for a really amazingly beautiful exhibit.

It was named 'Sacred Gifts'.

It was so great, and I am so glad that Emmy got us tickets to go to it!

After that we wanted to go and see the progress on the Provo City Center Temple.

It was pretty cool to see the progress since we last saw it.

It is pretty exciting.

Then we were all 'starving'...so we made a stop by Wendy's and had some Frosty's and French fries.

Then we decided to take a little nature walk.

It was such a beautiful day.

Elsie has been a little grumpy today....her body sore from playing so hard yesterday....

And she did a lot of walking and a lot of stairs!

I gave her a good foot and leg massage tonight....so I hope that helps her for tomorrow.

We had a very fun day with Emmy!

Oh and we came home and had dinner and then Dad knocked down Em's old shed in the back.

I have pictures of that.....but I will do that later :)
