Monday November 15

It was a nice day today. 

The weather has been so great!

Elsie made a little sheet for Winnie’s pack and play. 

She is starting a sewing unit and needed a project that was just sewing straight lines. 

She did a great job!!!

Port had a wrestling meet and he did awesome!

He wrestled varsity again abs he pinned the kid in like 30 seconds!!!

He was so pumped to finally get a pin!!!

We are happy too…. He was starting to get a little discouraged I think!

And we are still working on finishing Cassi’s room……the never ending project 😂😂

Winnie is the sweetest and I love the pictures Madi sends me throughout the day ❤️

Can’t wait for them to be here for a week +!!!

 

Sunday November 14

Winnie spent her first night in her big girl crib. 

Both Madi and Winnie loved it!

They both slept great!

She’s getting so big 😭

We had a nice day today at church. 

It was the primary program, what’s a favorite!

After church we had dinner. 

We did CFM and our little thanksgiving tree. 

Then we watched Disney’s jungle cruise. 

 

Saturday November 13

My little Winnie bug is 3 months old!!!!!!

How?!?! 😭

But it’s also so exciting to watch her grow and become so curious about the world around her!

And man, she has grown A LOT!!!!

I went on an 8 mile run  today. 

It was so beautiful today!!!!!

The rest of the day was spent painting Cassi’s room and ceiling. 

It looks good. 

Just a few more things and we will be done 👍🏼

I also did one more topcoat on my table!

Now I’ll let it cure this next week and then bring it in the kitchen. 

I did order some chairs too……which is very exciting!!!!!!

On a side note, man I have been really grumpy and angry lately and I feel bad for my poor kiddos!!!

Hopefully I can chill out soon 😞

Friday November 12

Well, I’ve been pretty grumpy today. 

I have not been sleeping well and I think it’s catching up to me 😞

Actually, dad found out a guy he worked with last week tested positive. 

So he and the guys went and got tested, and I did too….all negative!

Yay!

I worked on a little invite for Winnie’s blessing.

I’m so excited for them to come here in a little over a week ❤️

This week will be all about getting everything ready for our visitors and thanksgiving. 

Plus, I really want to have Christmas DONE or mostly done by the end of November!!!!!

Cass got an acceptance letter from BSU. 

We are hoping and praying she gets accepted into the nursing program there 🤞🏼

That would be ideal ❤️

She’s got an exciting future!

She got too long for her blanket sleeper, so Madi had to cut the bottom ❤️

 

Thursday November 12

Not much happened today. 

But I do have cute pictures of Winnie bear ❤️

She’s the best!

Dad abs I got a new Christmas tree today. 

Ours is pretty old and I was sick of spending hours putting lights on it…..

I think we picked a good one. 

This evening we had a family movie night, since dad works the next two nights. 

We watched the movie Finch. 

It was a very good show ❤️

Wednesday November 10

W we decided to paint the table white. 

Green would look too much like a poker table….

The picture of just with primer. 

But I’ve put two coats on and will probably do another before I add some poly coats. 

But I’m excited!

We will get new chairs for the table eventually……if I can find what I want 😞

Elsie has her school stuff…

I edited some pictures for a family. 

Dad wasn’t feeling super great, but not terrible, because of his booster. 

But he’s feeling better now. 

Port had another wrestling meet. 

He did a good job. 

He has to wrestle the two time district champ 😬

I think he syked himself out a little, worried he was gonna get hurt. 

But he got out of a good hold, but ultimately got pinned.

He is still loving it. 

He hasn’t gotten a win yet…..

But he has been wrestling varsity, and wrestling people who have wrestled for years!

So I think he’s doing great!

 

Tuesday November 9

It rained a lot today. 

So I couldn’t go for a run and went and did high fit instead. 

Worked on a few projects today. 

And school with Elsie, of course. 

She has online classes that she does while I paint. 

Dad has a big project of emptying the water heater to get rid of sediment. 

That took him a good part of the Day. 

I am not trying to decide if I should paint my table the green color I wanted to. 

It’s just paint!

If I hate it, we can try again…….

I love the color. 

I love it white, but white seems scary too!

Easy to stain!!!!

I’m excited to get it finished……just need to pick a color!!!!!

Dad and I had our ARP meeting this evening. 

Lots of new faces, which we always LOVE!!!!!

We love when people get brave and want to do what they can to change their lives!!!!

It was a great meeting ❤️

We talked about step 10, Daily Accountability.  

Such a great maintenance step to keep you on track!

Something we all need to do!

We should question our motives.

We should apologize right away. 

We should always stay clear from pride!!!!!!

 

Monday November 8

Today was a Monday…

We got school done with Elsie.

Dad cut the table when I was in Oregon and I am completely in love with it!

I put a coat of primer abs will do more with it tomorrow. 

Port has wrestling again tonight. 

He is getting stronger and stronger!

 

Sunday November 7

Cassi is an adult!!!!

Happy birthday Cass!

We took some pretty pictures of Cass before getting ready for church. 

We went to church with Madi, Winnie and Logan. 

We drove home and had a fun time jamming out to Taylor swift tunes. 

When we got home, there was a surprise birthday party waiting for her!

It was a really fun night!

 

Saturday November 6

Started the day with a nice run in the very cold wind!

But beautiful views!!!!

Winnie got a bath. 

We took some blessing dress pictures of Winnie. 

Same dress that Madi, Cass and Elsie wore ❤️

We went shopping and ate and just hung it. 

Such a great day!

This evening we went to a yummy restaurant with Logan. 

Winnie is kinda sad tonight….a little tummy ache. 

Man she is such a sweet baby though ❤️

Gonna miss her so much when we go back home!

We will see her again in a few weeks though!

Tomorrow Cassi turns 18!!!!!

Craziness!!!!!

She used to be Winnie’s age 😭😭😭
