Monday October 10

So Madi forgot her camera at home today.

She asked me to bring it to her at 11:36.

So I got my grocery list all planned out and was going to go to the store after I dropped it off.

Well, half way there I realized I forgot my phone....so I turned back.

I still could not find my phone!

I decided I should just go so Madi didn't panic.

I still made it to the school in time.....well, it was actually 11:37........

And there was no one in sight!

I sat there for 15 minutes.....waiting.

And trying to figure out where my phone could be!!!!!

One of our old phones that the kids use for games was still in the car from the trip.

I tried to see if I could send her an Instagram message......

No such luck.

I have to have WiFi for it and I couldn't get close enough to the church to get the WiFi there :)

I decided to go back home and find my phone so I could get a hold of her.

I still could not find it!

I did send her an Instagram message with the phone there.....she asked if I could bring it during the next break!!!!! 

Ahhh...I couldn't get to the store and back in time for that!

Plus I hadn't found my phone yet!

I looked EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!

I could not figure out where it went!

I said some prayers  :)

I even checked inside Mater's doghouse!!!!!!!

It was no where in sight!

But then I found it.

It was in the car :)

It had fallen in the space under the radio, behind the console in a very thin dead space, just big enough for the phone to sit in.

Ridiculous!

Well, I had a text from Brent asking me to run to the bank.....

I thought I could do that in the time before I had to meet Madi.

Passing the school I stopped at the seminary building to see what class Madi might be in, maybe she could run and grab it.

Well, lucky me, she was in Seminary!!!!

So she grabbed the camera and I was off to the bank.

Oh but guess what????????

IT IS COLUMBUS DAY!

So, bank was closed.

Oh man!

That was a large chunk of my day spent running around!!!!!

Oh well!

I ran to the store to get groceries and when I got home I had about 30 minutes to get a workout in.

I have been very excited about our heavy bag.

I got an awesomely intense workout in!

I told Brent that if heavy bags could cry, ours would be bawling!

Ha ha ha :)

Then I had to go BACK TO THE SCHOOL to get Madi because Sydney had a soccer game and couldn't take her home.

After that I got a shower and things were a little bit slowed down :)

Port read to me while I made dinner.

Elsie and Cassi were putting dishes away, and he was super irritable and getting really mad (I kind of think he isn't feeling well....)

So I suggested using dad's ear plugs and they worked wonders :)

After dinner and cleanup, the kids were excited to do a workout for FHE.

We missed having dad home.

But we sure had a fun time.

Jump ropes and running and kickboxing.

Everyone got along so well, and even after we were done, they were all so nice to each other and it made me so happy.

Sunday October 9 (add more pictures)

It was a very nice day today!

We got up and went to church with Emmy.

It was a very nice sacrament meeting.......

We came home and enjoyed some time together and got packed up and ready to go.

The drive home went really well.

The kids are getting better with the drives.....it about time!!!!!

Saturday October 8 (add picture)

 What a great day full of family.

We headed to to church about 10 to meet up with all the Peterson side that is around here.

My parents are in charge of getting the church cleaned......so that is what we did when we first got there.

Actually....Brent and I got out of cleaning because we went back to Grandmas house to load up a few treasures she is sending home with us.

My Grandmas sewing machine.....an old OLD radio and also a heater/stove.

It took some time to get it all loaded so when we got back to the church, they had it all cleaned :)

Nice work fam!

Then we all had breakfast for lunch out in the pavilion.

Lots of yummy food and hanging out with family.

The kids always have so much fun together.

Brent and Bruce had fun manning the grills.

And I had fun holding sweet Avaani :)

After lunch, we got all cleaned up and then drove back to Em's

Then Andy and Maegan (Matthews) just bought a home in Provo...and Dave and Cin and Ryan and Sammy drove down to help them build a deck on the back.

So we stopped by to help and hang out.

Matthews boys sure know how to work.

It turned out pretty awesome!

We worked there until about 7:30 or so....

Em and Elsie and Cassi were home with Em.

Port, Madi and I were with Dad.

I think we all had a fun evening.

It is always a great time when you get to be with family!

Friday October 7 (add pictures)

We had a nice morning with Gramps.

The kids had some fun outside....Madi took some picts for her photo class.

She got some fun ones.

Dad, Cassi and Port went on a hunt for Dussy boys missing deer he shot a couple weeks ago....but he got away with the arrow in him.

He said if we found it he would wear BSU stuff to the BSU/BYU game :)

But no luck :(

The kids rode Strip.

We visited Grandma on our way out....and the buffalos too.

We drove to Utah to hang the rest of the night with Emmy.

Tomorrow we will have a fun Peterson family get together :)

I better get some sleep!

Thursday October 6

We made it here to Evanston.

We got a later start today then we thought we would.....so we got to Evanston about 5.

I think we had our best drive yet.

Only whining about 20 minutes outside Burley and then the last 20 minutes of the drive.

It was pretty awesome!

We ate KFC with Gramps then went and visited Dussy Boy.

Somehow our leisurely night got away from us and it's 10:00 before anyone is in bed!!!!!!!

Wednesday October 5

Busy day.....

I worked in the office.

Came home and then dad went with me to take some pictures for Paul Davis Restoration.

They are renovating a house that had a fire and they want me to do before/during/after photos.

Should be a fun project.

Then we went and had a little date at Harbor Freight, Big 5, and we ate at Boise Fry Company.

So that was fun.

We came home and I finished up sorting laundry and he got stuff done around the house.

Kids came home.

WE had to have some dinner.......then there was football practice.

Funny story.....we made plans with Bubbles to have Elsie go read to her on Wednesdays.

I set an alarm on my phone for 5:30 to remind me.

Well, I got that reminder at 5:30 a.m.!!!!

So Bubbles had to call and remind us :)

We went down and it took a while for Elsie to warm up to the idea.....

Bubble made yummy treats for her and promised Jolly Ranchers after wards.

It took a while, but she did end up reading with Bubbles!

I think it will be such a fun thing to have her do :)

Well, then we came home and Elsie went to YW with Cass and me.

Madi was at Tripp's birthday party.

At YW we learned some sign language.

We have a new Beehive that is Autistic and uses some sign language, so this will be fun for all the girls to be able to communicate with her better.

Brent picked them up after YW so I could have a presidency meeting.

That went late and then I picked Madi Bell up from the party.

I am excited to sleep :)

Tuesday October 4

I helped in the office, but after about 30 minutes, when the other helper came in, I realized I had the wrong day.

I get to go in again tomorrow :)

Ha ha ha....

I came home and got some pictures edited.

Also did a bunch of laundry.

Then I ran and got some errands done.

I came home and got more laundry done and started to clean out our old bedroom to turn it into a workout type of room.

Yay!!!!

I am actually pretty excited about it :)

We had Kyra and Cannon over after school.

Avery had her tonsils out today, so they hung out with us.

Kyra had fun doing speech therapy with Elsie and Joanne.

Cannon and Port left for Max's birthday party at Nerfed.

They had a lot of fun :)

I left and took some pictures down in eagle.....

When I got home, we all went and visited with Avery and the fam.

I hope she remembers to take it easy!!!!

Monday October 3

I dropped the kids off at school then came home and took a nap.

I was dragging!

hen my alarm went off this morning, Brent had to wake me up!

That never happens!

Guess I needed some sleep.

When I got up I did laundry and cleaned up the whirlwind that conference weekend brings....

I also worked out before I showered.

Then I picked Madi up for PT.

I had to leave her there, to go pick Elsie up.

We then picked Madi back up and ran to PT for Elsie.

Elsie worked really hard....and did almost everything.

Including sitting on a ball inside the swing.....which she was really nervous about trying, but ended up thinking it was pretty great!

Then we went and did some shopping.

Got home and ate dinner with the kiddos and then cleaned up.

I ran to the store with Port to get a birthday present for Max.

Then I had a meeting with the Beehive advisers about our upcoming Harvest party.

Then we had scriptures and a little FHE before bedtime.

Thursday October 2

Another great General Conference weekend!

I will be excited to listen through them again on my own, though :)

Sometimes these kiddos make it hard to just sit and listen!

But it was a pretty chill day.

Note taking, picture coloring, snack eating, blanket stealing....

Porter wanted green eggs and ham for dinner.

I said no problem...anything to get some real food into his skinny body!

Dad made us a Brisket for dinner that our BBQ neighbor gave us......it was sooo yummy!

We watched 17 miracles after dinner too.

Great movie.

Saturday October 1

Today was general Conference!

We all woke up and dad had to leave to cover a guy;s shift for a few hours to go to a football game.

When dad left, we ran to Walmart and the kids picked out whatever cereal they wanted.

Then we came home and snacked and took notes and hung out.

It was a nice Conference today.....

Dad ended up having to stay the rest of the shift because one of the guys dislocated a shoulder, or something.......

So at least he is getting some overtime!

But it did make listening to talks harder when it was just me......

I also just missed having him around.

Well then later this evening, we were invited to have a movie and girls (and little boys who couldn't go the priesthood) night with the Nielson's and some of the Morgans....

We watched Runaway Bride and ate donuts and snacks.

We also painted some finger and toenails :)

Then it somehow turned into a water gun fight outside and then a dance party inside!

With a disc ball!

Sp it got late.

I hope they all decide to sleep in,

Elsie was up at 4 a.m. this morning!

She was on the couch at 8, and had fallen back to sleep.

I hope she doesn't wake up early again tomorrow!

I want some sleep!
