Thursday June 7

I got a lot of stuff done today...but I feel like I bounced from one thing to another, then another, then back to the first thing, then the second and back again.....

One of those days :)

But it was all stuff I chose to do, not that had to be done...so it was fun.

The kids cleaned their rooms while I went for a run.

Then after lunch, I took Elsie to her friend, Malia's, house.

After that, I ran and FINALLY got myself a new pair of running shoes.

I am about a year overdue!!!!!

I can't wait to get out again and try them out!

I also went and grabbed some stuff from Lowes for the garden.

Got some connections so we can get water to the pumpkin patch....also got some pumpkin seeds!

I ALWAYS forget to plant the pumpkins!

So Port and I are excited about getting them planted, hopefully tomorrow.

I cut the bottom branches on the rest of the trees.

I also cut branches out of the tree of life, which Port is trying to make into a fort.

It is called the 'tree of life' because it was the only thing that was GREEN when we moved here :)

It will be a fun spot once we got it done!

Then Sherrie asked if I wanted some of her extra dirt....which was perfect timing, because I needed some for the fairy garden Elsie and I are making :)

I painted a few old drawers today to use for those fairy gardens.

So I ran there to get some dirt and brought Koy back with me.

Cannon was over hanging out with Porter too, so the three boys picked up tree branches for me.

Then I gave Madi some money to take them to get some snow cones.

Cassi hung out with Avery today, then when Avery went babysitting, she went swimming with Kaili.

Then I went and got Elsie from Malia's house and that is when the rain DUMPED on us!

I got home just a little bit after Madi got home with the boys.

The boys stripped their shirts off and went and ran in the rain :)

It was a beautiful kind of warm rain.....and lots of it!!!!!

Then they came in and watched a movie while they dried off.

The rest of the night went smooth.

Elsie is SO TIRED!!!!

Late nights and lots of activity during the day.......I am sure her poor little body will get used to it, but man oh man.....she is just plain worn out!

Every time it rains, I wish for a rainbow to show up right over our place from this location...

I am sure one day I will get one :)
