Saturday March 10

I feel like today was quite successful!!!!!

We got the normal Saturday chores done....rooms cleaned and laundry put away.

But I also assigned drawers to them to clean out :)

Cassi has been wanting to get rid of her dresser, so I had her get that cleaned out.

I actually have a really fun idea to do with it....so stay tuned!!!!

Porter was in charge of cleaning out the dresser under the TV.

It is filled with his stuff anyway :)

He had all kinds of stuff in there!

He cleaned them out nicely and got everything organized and put where they needed to go.

Elsie and Madi were in charge of the built-in drawers.

Port was done with his drawers when the girls got started on theirs......so he helped them out too.

So nice to have those drawers cleaned up.

Each one of them had become 'junk' drawers!

Now they are all organized!!!!!

I really appreciated their help.

I did laundry and I spent quite a lot of time sorting and folding socks.

Like hundreds of socks.

Why in the world do we have so many socks!!!!!!!!!!

At least they are matched now!

I got a lot of other house organizing stuff done....but mostly just laundry and socks.

At lunch time, Madi took Cassi and a couple of Cassi's friends to Chick-fil-a.

Port went and hung out with the Edwards boys and Cannon.

Cannon came over a little later in the day when the Edwards boys went skiing.

Elsie took a long time to get her room and laundry done......but she used her free time to draw in her room and write in her diary :)

It was a good day.

Cassi went babysitting tonight and Madi had a date.

I also went for a run this evening before the sun went down and it felt so nice to be outside running!

So excited for great weather again!!!!!

Poor kids look homeless with all their holes in their clothes!!!!!
