Friday March 9

Today has been a weirdly long day......

After getting the kids to school, I finished up my lesson plan for Elsie's art smart.

I needed to paint a sample for them to see, and also see if the marker-turned-watercolor would work how I wanted it to.

Then I went for a run outside :)

But that didn't last long, because I got a call from the middle school with Cassi in the nurses office.

She was nauseous and the room was spinning.

No headache......

During rugby practice yesterday she went for a ball and hit her chin on the ground.

She was just fine last night....but the school nurse thought maybe we should visit the idea of a possible concussion.

I don't know...it wasn't a hard hit.

I thin, it could just be exhaustion.

I don't know.....she has done more this week as far as working out than she has in a long time....and not getting the sleep she should.

And  few extra stressors here and there.

I picked her up and brought her home so she could rest.

I had to leave her so I could go and teach Elsie's Art Smart.

She was good when she was laying down and resting.

Art Smart went good.

We did a fun project on watercolor paper, using markers, and then paintbrushes with water to spread the ink like watercolor.

The pictures turned out so good.

All the kids initials turned out so good!

After school, I took Porter with me to get groceries and we got stuff for Root Beer floats.

And after rest, Cassi felt much better.

This evening the three youngest watched The adventures of TinTin, after root beer floats, of course :)

Madi went to The Mav Factor (a talent scholarship show at the high school)

While she was gone, she got asked to PROM....so now I am waiting for her to come home so she can see it!

Found a fun hat for 'Roamer'.

And I made a yarn beard for him too :)
