Saturday June 3 (add pictures)

At some point I will make up for all these posts that are missing pictures!

Today was Saturday chores.....

Except Dad had to leave for some helicopter training.

How cool is he :)

I woke up when he did and he left and I went for a run.

I am excited to be able to get some regular morning runs in now that it is summer and I don't have to worry about getting kids ready for school!

I ran 5 miles again.

It sure feels good to get out there again!

When I got home I had the kiddos start working.

Well, Madi left to do yard work on the Morgan's yard for the Brewers :)

We got stuff done....not as much as I would like!!!!!!

It is pulling teeth to get them to do stuff!

That is why this summer I am going to try and figure out a different way to work the system!

Port was a good worker, because he wanted to get out and play with the boys.

Elsie did a good job cleaning her room and putting her clothes away....but then she cried for about 45 minutes when I wouldn't let her sit and watch TV.

So, that was fun.......

I got her to pick up the living room so she could watch a Studio C episode.

I did loads and loads of laundry......

I also took a shower before running to the store because Cassi had two birthday parties to go to tonight.

One with our neighbor Donovan.

He is about the level of a 5 or 6 year old.

Cassi and him have been great friends for many years.

He is the sweetest and he always invites Cassi to the movies for his birthday....since 4th grade :)

So I went and got gifts for her friends

Then once Madi was home and I made her do a few home chores, she showered then left again to go work at the snow cone shack.

Cassi left for Donovan's party.

That is about when dad came home.

We had plans to go to the good-bye party for the Terry's.

But we had to leave early to pick up their table.

We are table-sitting it for the year while they are gone :)

So we went to the party with the little ones.

Hung out a bit......and said our goodbyes.

Well, to Brad.....Jenni and the girls are gonna come over tomorrow night to hang for a bit.

So we came home and Dad and Port played with dad's truck for a bit.

Cassi came home and I hurried and ran her to the last 30 minutes of Ellie's party.

Then Madi picked her up on the way home.

All safe and sound, snug as a bug under the same roof now :)

Madi has been freaking out about her glass dolls lately.
