Today was all about Dad......
I hope we didn't totally wear him out!
We gave him a handful of envelopes to open.
The first one being at 8 a.m.
It was a note from Madi, asking him to go to breakfast with her :)
So they left and went to the Griddle and had a nice time eating and chatting.
When he got home, it was time to open the next envelope.
This one was from Porter, and he invited dad to go to Wahooz with him!
So the boys got ready and headed to Wahooz.
Port has been so excited and I am glad he was able to keep it a secret!!!!!
They did all kinds of fun stuff and Port loved every minute!
Dad did too :)
He came home and it was about 12:30.
His next envelope was from Cassi. and she asked him out to lunch.
They decided to go to Boise Fry Company....where Cassi got to try a bison burger!
Cassi really did love this one on one time with Dad!
And Dad really enjoyed the quiet time to have a chance to chat.
They came home and then it was time for Elsie's envelope.
Her;s was a invitation to go with her to the new Cars 3 movie!!!!
In 3D!
Oh man oh man, excited doesn't even describe how she felt!
To get Daddy, all to herself, at the movies!
Dream come true!!!!!!
Yesterday Port said something to her about the movie....I hadn't told her yet, because I know she is the WORST secret keeper....
Well, Elsie said to me yesterday "Mom, I want to tell you something, but I don't want you to me mad."
I told her that she can tell me, I won;t be mad.
She said to me that she didn't want to see THAT movie with Dad.
I told her that she liked the other ones, she would like this too, and Dad would love it too!
(There weren't many kid friendly options at that time slot)
After talking to her a bit, she said to me "Okay, I would love to go with dad."
Well, after a minute she said, I guess I will see "Kong" with dad.
I started laughing!
Poor girls thought I was gonna make her to see Kong with dad!!!!!!!
And she was gonna go anyway!!!!!!!
I can;t even tell you how releaved she was when she learned that it was CARS not KONG!!!!!
Ha ha ha!!!!
What a sweet girl.......Love her!
Well, after the movie, it was my turn with a date with Dad.
He said he thinks he has gained 5 pounds with eating out and eating junk all day!
I know it was a lot to stuff in one day, but the kids all wanted their own time with dad, and it just worked out so perfectly!!!!!
Dad and I went to the RAM....of course :)
It was yummy, as usual.
And we really enjoyed our time there.
We sure love that guy.....and he is such a great dad for these kids and you can tell how much they love him and cherish that one on one time with him!
She can't contain her excitement!
