Happy #17 anniversary to us!!!!
Wowza!
17 years!!!!!!
So Brent was supposed to be at work today, but he got it off to be with me :)
I still made the kids do house work today.
(After Cassi and I got a good workout done :)
I made a list with what to do in each room that needed cleaning.
But I made a game out of it :)
They started in their rooms and whoever got their room checked off first, got to pick what they would do next.
So that was incentive to finish your room fast so you don't get stuck with the worst jobs....ha ha ha!!!!
We got everything done in pretty good time.
I am thinking I like the system.
Maybe I need to laminate the papers and continue to use them!
I got a package in the mail today too!!!!
From Emmy.
She is so sweet and sent my family another star with our year theme on it!
I love it so much and I love all my stars hanging up all together!
I love it!
Thanks, Emmy, you are the best!!!!!
After lunch Dad went to help Justin, Cassi went babysitting, Madi did a little project for me that I need for tomorrow, Port and Max investigated Port's fossil (one of dad's old ones) and Elsie watched a movie with Graham.
I did some meal prepping :)
About 3:30, I jumped the showered and got ready for my big date night.
Dad came home and he got all ready to take me out.
We went to eat at our "place".....the RAM.
Then we went and watched "Hidden Figures".
It was such a great movie!!!!!
It was a nice night spent with my man.
There was a bit of trouble with the kids while we were gone....
Surprise, surprise!!!!!
But things were better when we got home,
We stopped by Walmart after the movie, got a few veggies and also some fun bean bag chairs to go with Port's retro Nintendo game :)
We did order some Banana chairs, but we are thinking they might not be very sturdy one.......
So we like these bean bag chairs :)
When we got in the car we started talking about anniversary gifts......and I looked up and the 17th year anniversary gift - it's furniture!!!!!
Ha ha ha.....I guess Bean bag chairs count as furniture, right? :)
Anyway....Happy anniversary to my very most favorite ever.
There are so many more to come!!!!!
Part of the star packaging :)
This is how Porter thinks his gaming stuff needs to be set up :)
Ha ha ha!
Instead I got him a basket for the games.
They got this gaming system that plays all the old games.
The boys have been having a blast!
Had to document how Madi shook up the spaghetti sauce bottle after she was the one who put the lid on.
Obviously not tight enough......
