Friday January 13

It was a very cold and frosty day!

And a really foggy morning that left a pretty covering of frosting all over the trees :)

Cassi got up and did a workout with me this morning.

That was fun and hopefully it will become a routine for us together :)

Dad left to work before the big girls were off to school.

Then I got a call that he was coming home!

I guess he put in for these days off, for our anniversary tomorrow.

So when he got to work he found out he got today off as well.

So he came home :)

I got the little ones to school and then I was so exhausted I had to have a little nap.

(Still trying to adjust to 5:30 workout time)

Woke up and had lunch with Dad before heading to the school for Elsie's art smart.

Things went well and it was a fun project.

Then all of the sudden Elsie started crying.

I took her into the back room and I calmed her down.

She told me she didn't feel good and her tummy hurt.

I knew she was excited about school and excited about art smart...

So I believed her and brought her home.

We got home and worked on the fun art project together.

She ended up making it look like a kaleidoscope of roses :)

Then she asked if I thought that Ms. Sanders knew that her middle name was rose.

She felt better, but did kind of seem off the rest of the night.

Hopefully she gets some good sleep and doesn't get sick!!!!!!

I went and did some shopping....for some cooking I am gonna do :)

This evening dad and Porter went and helped Justin again.

Cassi went to her friend Ellie's house.

Elsie hung out with Madi and I.

Madi tried out a fun new recipe.

She was complaining about how Cassi always gets to be the one to cook and how she wanted to make something.

I think she really wanted to prove that you could cook something without making a big mess :)

(She has been complaining about how messy her family is a lot lately....)

It was funny to see her surprised face when she had to use so many bowls and make more of a mess than she thought.

She did do a great job cleaning up....but dad did help her with the dishes and I helped her out too.

She is kind of a stinker ;)
