We got up this morning and went to go pick up two free trees that we got from Idaho Power.
They aren't huge, but it will be nice to have the trees to replace the big one in back that is just a junk tree.
I want to cut it down because with every wind storm we have, we lose lots of branches and I'm afraid the thing will fall on our house!
But it provides lots of shade for the backyard.
But now we can get these trees going.
Idaho Power offered them as an energy saving thing.
Told you where you could plant them by your house to be the most effective in shading, and therefore saving you money on your power bill.
Pretty cool :)
Dad has felt lousy today like I did the beginning of the week.
I told him to just rest.
I went and got some grocery shopping done.....toilet paper and stuff.
I got home and then went for a run.
Another 6 miler.
I love it.
It always outs me in such a good mood :)
I need to try and get faster.....but I am trying!
Came home and tried to get the kids to do their jobs......I kind of failed.
The nice weather won out.....
Lots of playing outside in the beautiful sun!
I got the trees planted....dad started some irrigating.
I convinced the boys to help me get rocks out of my garden so i can get started prepping that.
I let them pick out of the 'Grandma box' and I also paid them a dollar each :)
They are good boys.
Cassi went to a birthday party and I had to pick her up a little early so she could go babysitting.
And Madi went with Maegan and her fam to hike table rock.
Elsie was my little sidekick most the day.
She and I have kind of bonded a little more lately.
I mean she has always loved me, of course.....but things are getting even better :)
She is such a fun one to be around with her amazing imagination!
And I learned today she can count by 9's.
I had no idea!
So proud of her!
She told me she wanted me and her to do summer school over the summer.
I said FOR SURE!!!!
So I think we all had a fun day.
Except, hopefully Dad feels better tomorrow.....
Madi made crowns for Elsie and herself.....such cute little flower girls.
Ha ha ha....Graham and his little rock :)
Our family....buffalo style :)
Elsie, showing off her 9's :)
(Emmy, she really wanted you to see this, but it was too big to text....)
