Today was a crazy day!
First of all, we got some snow!
Yay for the kids, boo for me!
I don't like the cold :(
I got up at 5:30 so I could work out and showered before Madi needed a ride to school.
Sydney couldn't take her this morning and apparently she doesn't know her bus sched in the morning....
Dad was going to the auction with one of our neighbors with his cows, so he couldn't take her.
I was worried that I would get stuck in the high school traffic and not make it back before Cassi had to leave, leaving the little ones home alone.
But I made Madi leave early, like 6:50, so we missed the traffic :)
It all worked out.
Plus I was all ready for the day, which is always nice.
Especially since it was a busy day.
So like I said, Dad was gone to the auction until about 2ish.
I helped in Port's class all morning.
That was fun.
Then i came home and worked on my talk for Sunday until dad came home.....then I had to leave again for Port's Art Smart.
I got to teach today.
The artist was William H. Johnson.
He didn't use cut paper as his medium, but that is what it looked like, so that is what we used :)
The kids did self portraits.
I made an example using our family......cause I love family art :)
The kids had fun and I think they turned out really great!
Port's ended up with a goatee, which he says he wants when he grows up.
Silly kid!
When that got done, school was out, so I brought the kiddos home.
While I was gone to that dad, was working on the island.
So I went out to help him when I got back, but then remembered that Elsie had speech with Joanne.
So we did that.
Then homework and dinner and then I left again for the Relief Society's Humanitarian night.
We had a bunch of stuff to donate to the CATCH program.
I helped with making some of the 8 fleece blankets we finished tonight.
Lots of fun talking with the ladies in the ward and getting to know new ones :)
It was a good night.
