Cassi is running for 6th grade student council!

She made 4 posters, but this one was the fav :)

They vote on Thursday.....good luck Cass!!!!

I helped in the school office today for a little bit.

When I got home I did the dishes and then Dad and I went to work on the island, but the drill we needed had a dead battery.

So we stuck it on the charger and then we went to Restore to look at some cabinets.

We got lucky and found some for $5 each!!!!

So we got two and I think they will work great!

They need some love for sure!!!!

I am sure people saw us driving with them and thought maybe we were driving them to the dump ;)

Nope!

That's how I roll!

I can't wait to see the finished product!

I will do a before and after FOR SURE!!!!

He also took me out to eat for lunch and we made a stop at Harbor Freight to get some stuff for the boy who is having a birthday this weekend :)

Yes, Harbor Freight......it's gonna be a fun birthday for the boy who loves to build real stuff!

When we got home we got the fire going in the shop and started on the island.

This has been a bugger to work with, mainly because it is so very heavy!!!!!

But it will be worth it!

I can't wait to get it in the kitchen!!!!!!!

I think I will just prime the cabinets for now.

I think I want the island to be a different color than the cabinets, but can't decide what color!!!!

Anyway.

Tonight for FHE we talked about being Builders, not Bull-dozers.

I challenged them to give three compliments throughout their day, for a week.

I think it will be a great week!
