Today was the primary program :)
I went early so i could save a seat right by where Elsie would be, because I wasn't sure she would go up or not.
And my best chance would be if I was just right there.....
Well, those awesome Primary presidency ladies were to on the ball :)
I got there and they had already reserved a spot for me to be behind her!
How great are they? :)
The program was so great.
Port had a part.
He said "My dad has the Priesthood. He gives me blessings."
He did so good and I love hearing his cute voice over the microphone.
Elsie didn't have a part.
They asked if she wanted one when they were writing the program, but I knew we were pushing it to even get her to participate......so I told them not to worry about it.
But she did go with the class.
That is good.
She did even sing one word!
Stinker!
She loves singing the songs.
But She has a hard time keeping up at their pace.
So it's okay with me :)
I know she knows the sings cause she sings them at home!
My favorite part of the program is the end when we sing the closing song.
All the kids are still up there..
They sang the first verse, and then the congregation joined in for the last few.
I LOVE hearing their little voices above the whole congregation!
It is such a beautiful sound!
It was a really great program.
I know first hand how much goes into it and it always turns out beautiful (even though you're not sure it will....)!
Elsie wouldn't go to any of her classes today.
I don't know what we are gonna do about it!
It really frustrates me!
But we will just keep trying.....
Later on after dinner, Cassi had choir practice and I had a yw/ym planning meeting.
The kids got to bed a little late, but went right to sleep.
It is so cold and windy and rainy out there.
Dad says it is snowing at the fire station.
The kids re hoping to wake up to a snow day!!!!
I really hope not!
I'd love to have them home, but I would not love for it to snow enough to close schools!
