Well, I pretty much ignored my kids today :(

I took Cassi to cross country this morning and when I got back, Andy and Katie were all loaded up and ready to head back home.

I didn't want to go rent the sander and then have to take a break to go get Cassi from XC.

So when I grabbed Cass, we went and got the sander.

I got right to work while the kids just hung out.

I got the drum sanding done all over all of it.

I got it done in just under 4 hours.

Went and returned that and got a finish sander.

Again went over everything and got done in about 4 hours as well.

When I got home from returning it I fed the kiddos some dinner and then got back to work with sanding the edges and sweeping up.

Man oh man!

It is a lot of work!!!!!

I was hoping to get it to the point so we can start staining in the morning....but I still have some places to hand sand, and then clean it all really well with tack cloth.

So that will take some time....but my plan is to put the stain on tomorrow!!!!!

Cassi, Cannon and Port made some little fairy/gnome houses today that were pretty cute :)

I do feel bad totally not even seeing them much today......

But they understand.

The goats got out twice again today!

The last time I got them put back in and thought maybe I found a spot that they might be getting out.

When I went to go fix it I got stung twice by wasps!

Man, they hurt!
