I had a dr appt this morning.
After that I got to go to Port's school for the "Mother's Tea".
It was so cute.
They sang songs to us and then read a little note they made for us.
Then we had cookies and lemonade :)
He's just the gosh darn cutest boy in the world!
When we got home, Dad really wanted to change the gates on the irrigation pipes.
So Port did the dirty work for him and bent down to shut and open gates. :)
Then we had lunch and Port went to play with the boys.
I had plans to sand the bathroom floor down today.......but instead dad and I watched a movie on Netflix together.
Lazy ;)
But I needed to just sit and do nothing for just a little bit!
Then it was time to go and get the girls.
Brent had planned for Heather to take the kids so we could go out to eat tonight.
So we got ready and took them over to the Youngs house.
Except for Madi.
She went over to Karli's house to make tutu's for the Race for The Cure tomorrow.
A bunch of her friends are running on Karli's mom's team.
So that's where she was tonight.
Dad and I went to the RAM for dinner.
They switched up the menu since last time we were there.....so that was kind of a bummer.
But it was still yummy and nice to get out for a little bit.
Of course we can't go out without making a Walmart stop.
How romantic!
Madi needed pink socks for tomorrow and Port's shoes are pretty much covered in holes....so we got him some new ones.
Super exciting stuff!
When we got back to the Youngs, the kids had jumped in the pool!
Crazies!
It was about 64 degrees when they jumped in!
But they had fun anyway :)
*****
We got an envelope in the mail today with no return address and no name inside.
Someone wishing us well with the recovery as well as with our remodel and included $200.
I don't even know what to say!
I have no idea who it was, but I can think of a million people in our life that would be so generous!
People are so good.
So loving and so kind.
I can only hope that person (people) knows how grateful we are for their love and support.
We are being taken care of by Angels every day.....
In Heaven and those here on Earth as well.
