Madi got up early this morning to join her friend Karly and a bunch of their friends at the Race for the Cure.

They are running (walking) in support of Karly's mom who was diagnosed not too long ago with breast cancer.

It was a beautiful day willed with lots and lots of people!

I am glad Madi was able to be there as support for her friend and her sweet mom :)

Here at home, it took a while to get going, but eventually we started cleaning rooms and getting clothes put away.

I had big plans of getting the bathroom floors sanded down.

Well, that didn't happen!

But I did lay down the filler coat, so it is ready to get sanding on Monday morning!

I also started taking off some of the tape from the stairs.

That will take some time, cause I want to use a razor to cut along the edge so I don;t pull up any of the top coating stuff.

Cassi and Porter played upstairs with Port's Lego's a lot of the day.

We hot glued some of his green squares onto his little desk yesterday and he has been so excited to have a Lego table.

So, I guess it was kind a boring day.

Oh except, I finally went grocery shopping!!!!!

Yay!

There is finally some food in the house!!!!
