It was Madi's PACE presentation today.
She got to get it done really early in the day and she was happy to have it over with.
I picked her up from school early, once she and her friends were all done.
Dad and I went to a meeting right after that to figure things out about the insurance stuff.
The kids got their rooms cleaned while we were gone.
And shortly after we got home, the Young's came over to hang out.
The kids have been so excited to hang out!
The little ones played with the ducks and goose for a good long time while the big girls played hide and seek in the house.
Drew and Heather fixed some open spots on the outside of the garage before we told them to stop and we played some games.
It was nice to have some down time and not have to think about anything else.
While they were here we had our dinner brought to us from Teresa Rollins.
That is a family we have known for a long time.
Bishop Rollins was our bishop when we first moved to Meridian 13 years ago.
Then when we moved here, we were surprised to see them in our ward again.
Kind of fun :)
Oh.....Dad shaved today.
It is kinda weird to see him with a clean shaven face now.
He has been hairy for so long.
But he said today that he needed a change.
Needed a way to get out of the slump he feels like he is in.
So shaving was a good place to start :)
But I won't lie, it is gonna take time to get used to.
Oh....in other news.....I actually got a nap today!!!!!
YAY!
Elsie was up again last night.
She wasn't up for as long, but i did have to lay on her floor until she fell asleep.
All my other kids let me cuddle with them until they go to sleep.
But Elsie has never been one to cuddle in the middle of the night.
She kicks me out on the floor....but makes me stay right there.
Stinker.
I told her tonight that is she woke up, I was gonna kick her out on the floor and i was gonna take the bed ;)
Seems like a fair plan, right?
