Drew showed up first thing this morning to work on patching up some spots where the new roof cuts into the garage.

It needed to be weather proof.

We will eventually cover the garage with the same siding as the house, of course, but for now we just needed it patched.

He also worked on some spots on the deck.

We also had Aaron hale show up and ask me questions about how I wanted the trim on the windows and doors and shelves in the closets.

He got some supplies and trimmed out one door and one window so I could see if it was really how I wanted it.

And I think they look so great!

It is so nice to have that finished look!

I am happy with how they turned out.

I picked up Cassi at the same time I picked up Port from school.

I brought Port home, then Cassi and I went and picked up Madi and we went to their appointment at the concussion clinic.

It was good to get them in there.

Not much different than what we have been told already....

But I think it is good to have the written out instructions for the gym teachers, teachers, and nurses at the schools.

They are not to participate in PE until the doc says they can.

They need to try to take breaks every 15 minutes or so.

No more than 1 hour of screen time a day.

Good rest, and drink lots of water.

We will go back and check with them again in three weeks.

Afterwards, it was almost time for Madi to get out of school, so we just went and picked up her stuff and i took her home.

Cassi went back to school, and she stayed a little later after school for her play dress rehearsal.

Tomorrow is their performance.

So once everyone was home we had bubbles and Eldon over to check out the work that had been done on the house.

They stayed and had some pizza with us (that was provided by my sweet friend Alyson Woodland :)

Oh, and Cassi said she was bored this afternoon and picked a bucket full of weeds.
