Today was a hard one.
Brent was hurting pretty bad....but he was pretty down too.
It is so hard for him to have to sit and not be able to do the things he wants to do.
It is even harder that he has to have a 'care taker'.
I know he loves me, but he is tired of me having to do things for him.
It was better tonight.....so I am thankful for that.
We had the Youngs (Drew, Heather, pat and Steve) over today again :)
And they knocked out (or rather, put in) the kitchen and pantry floors!
It looks so great!
I can't wait to get them sanded and finished!
So exciting :)
That pretty much took the whole day.
Then the kiddos came home from school and Cassi had guitar, I had to get some other errands done too.
While I was gone, my sweet friend Allyson Gozart brought my family dinner :)
I am starting to feel really bad about these dinners!
(But they have been a live saver for me!!!!!)
Then we all went over to Bubbles house (for a second dinner) and to celebrate Bubbles birthday which was yesterday.
It was a fun time with the Morgans and the Edwards and the Leavitts.
Port was being a stinker and had several warnings that he would go home if he didn't start being nice.
He finally had to be taken home with Dad.
(Dad was actually happy that Port got in trouble....cause he was ready to lay down!)
But he was good for dad and we brought some bake home for him.
So it was a good night.
When we got home Madi practiced her PACE for us.
There is no school tomorrow except for Madi (8th grade).
She is SO EXCITED to get this PACE stuff done with!
She will do awesome!
My friend, and fellow Beehive leader Cindy Peterson, brought Madi a cute PACE survival kit this evening, with treats and stuff.
So sweet of her :)

Love the flooring! Will it stay two different colors (darker and lighter wood)?? I love it!
The floor is looking AMAZING!!! And I think the bricks will look so cool when you have them all stained!!
