Madi stayed home today with a fever and a sore throat and a yucky cough :(

No fun!

Dad and I got more done on the floors.

They are still looking pretty great!

I am excited to sand it down and get rid of the yellowing that has happened!

We got the rest of the wood ordered for the entry way, so that should come in about 10 days, about the same time the carpet will come in.

I also went back to Lowes to get some new paint to fix the spots I touched up with the wrong color they gave me!!!!!

I think we have the right stuff now.

What a headache!!!!

Before we knew it, the school day was over and I went and got the girls.

Then we left again a little before 5 to meet up at Subway with Cassi's jump rope team for dinner.

The team has a tradition to meet up there before the jump competition.

Then we headed to Centennial high for the big Jump Rope competition!

Yay!

Cassi did so great!

Her first jump she got 103 (per foot in one minute), which was way higher than she had been getting in practice!

She was all worried because her practice scores weren't as high as she had wanted them to be.

But I told her that she would do great, and that once she is out there with the adrenaline and the excitement.....she feeds off of that, and I knew she would do well!

She moved on to the next round, yay!

She did a good job again, but didn't quite hit 100, but she still did great.

She was bummed not to move on to finals :(

But we told her we were so proud of her and all the work she put into it.

She is a good kid :)

So it was a late night.

And poor Madi was miserable at the competition.....just felt yucky.

Dad ran around with the little ones outside between waiting for Cassi's turns.....

Daddy did some fun wrestling with Port, but maybe they pushed it too hard, cause Port got coughing so hard that he threw up :(

Not good!

I don't want everyone to be sick!!!!!!!!!

But Elsie ran about a million miles, according to Daddy :)

She had a blast!

On the way home we bought Madi some medicine and Popsicles for everyone and also got some pretty flowers for Cass :)

It was a good night, except for the sickies!!!!!
