We worked on placing the wood today.

Dad went and got a flooring nail gun, while I went for a run.

Then I did some touch up paint.

I bought a 5 gallon bucket of the bluish/grey color.

I had one wall and the trimming in the master bedroom left to do.....

So I bought another gallon, and got that painting done!

Yay!

Until my VT came over and I showed them around, and I noticed that the places I had just painted, were a shade darker then the walls!!!!!

AHHHH!

Not only did I do the wall and the trim in the master with that paint, but I went around a spot painted a lot of other spots with this paint that is the wrong color!!!!!!

SERIOUSLY!!!!!!!

Brent made a run to Lowes later in the day, and they said that we need to bring a chunk of the WALL that is painted to match the color.

Bummer!

So then I need to paint all those spots again, once I get the right color mixed......

Anyway....the rest of the day we spent on the floors.

I LOVE how it is looking.

So does Brent....

A lot of times he doesn't really see the 'vision' I do, but goes ahead with it anyway cause he loves me :)

And he always (most always) ends up loving what we do.

In this case he loves it too :)

Can't wait to get it finished and sanded and all pretty.

It's gonna take a long time if it took us all day to do this one middle section.

Of course, the entry might be easier to do cause we are getting new wood there instead of reusing wood like we are right now :)

Bubbles surgery went well.

I called her today and she did not sound like Bubbles!

She is always so spunky and happy....

She was still happy and friendly, but definitely on some meds!

She told me that she actually fractured her femur in three places!!!

And the socket on the hip.

Bummer!!!!
