I told Brent today that I am bouncing between wanting to curl up in a ball and cry, punch a tree outside, or make a whole batch of cookies and eat them all myself.
I think I need to go for a run....but I was told I can't run :(
So, I guess I need to just yell into a pillow for the next two weeks.
Oh, and getting more sleep would be nice too........

I took Madi to her school registration this morning.
While we are waiting in the many long lines there, Cassi called and said that there was water pouring in on the basement stairs.
Not cool.
Our neighbor, Billy, came and pulled some tarps out while I finished up at school with Madi.
Cassi and Porter did a great job of laying towels out and pots to catch the water.
So I got home and Bob was there finishing up some inspection issues.
He came up with me and we patched some spots that couldn't be covered by tarps.
We used the extra scraps from what blew off the roof yesterday :)
So that worked out nice.
I think we got all the spots patched up pretty good.
Brent was stuck at work, frustrated to not be able to help!
But it all worked out okay.
I didn't really rest my arm like I should.
I did ice it after we did that.
But I am supposed to ice 3 times a day...ha ha ha....

Cassi's birthday party she was invited to was cancelled today because of the rain, so she and I went and got her school shopping done.
She found some cute stuff and it was fun to spend that time with her.
She has had a rough time lately.
Seems like she is always getting in trouble and getting yelled at.
So it was nice to do something positive and fun and all about her.
She said it is her turn for the fashion show tomorrow, so look forward to those pictures :)

We had all the boys over today.
It makes my heart happy to see these boys all together.
I am excited to see them throughout the years.....
I am sure we are headed towards numerous broken bones and stitches.
They are a bunch of cute boys for sure :)

Oh, Bubbles came and told us today that Dandy will be going to the big coral in the sky on Saturday.
Her hooves are dead.
She is in pain and there is nothing to do for her to make it better.
She has lived a good life and has sure enjoyed it over here in our pasture!
It makes me sad though :(

Cassi got a fun package in the mail today.
When Emmy was here for Elsie's baptism, she took home Cassi's quilt, that was still unfinished.
And she finished it!!!!!!
Yay!
Em knew that I wouldn't get to it for .....years probably :)
So I am so glad she was willing to bind it!
It looks super cute on her bed all finished....finally!
Emmy, you are the best!

Oh Kim, I'm so sorry it was such a rough day. :o( Tomorrow will be better!
So sorry about Dandy - it's not good for her to be in pain, but it is sad to lose that little horse friend.
Cass & Porter did a good job laying out the towels and pots - good, smart kids!
I was happy to work on Cassi's quilt - it is a beautiful quilt, and that is all your work!
Looking forward to Cassi's fashion show!! :o)
