Thursday August 14

Are you ready for it?
Ready to hear about today's activities?????
Well, it started this morning at 5 a.m when I heard a crash upstairs, and found the ceiling in the sewing room down on the floor :(
I had to laugh.
I mean, I really did!
I mean, it kinds feels like a joke these last few days.
So I got to work.
I hadn't packed that room up, because it was the only room that wasn't going to change.
Well, so much for that :)
At about 7:30, I ran Madi to Cross country, and got a call from Heather.....I kinda knew she would call :)
She sent Drew right over, and his dad Steve came too.
They got tar paper up for me.
Brent is on a trade, which looks really bad if you leave the shift.
So he was dying at work, wondering what was going on.
They did a great job!
Heather showed up not much longer after the guys got here to help me with clean up.
You guys are such great people.
I am so thankful for all the help you gave me today and helped keep me sane, cause I may have gone off the deep end if you hadn't shown up :)
Like the crazy person deep end!!!!
Anyway....Port had a little play group today.
The went to the swimming pool for about an hour, then I brought Cannon home with us for a little while too.
These two, like I said before, make me smile.
They crack me up.
After a hard time playing outside, I let them watch the last half of Wreck-it-Ralph that they missed yesterday.
And I just thought they were so cute.
Madi and Cassi and Elsie played outside in mud today while I got stuff packed for our little camping trip tomorrow.
Yes, we are still going.
We bounced back and forth between going or not....
But the forecast looks clear and it's just for over night.
And our family needs some time together away from the house stuff!
So we are going :)
So, later in the day the Young's invited us over for a swim.
It was such a fun time.
Especially watching Elsie getting fun swimming lessons from Heather.
I am almost positive that Heather can get Elsie swimming next year!
She had so much fun.
She was grumpy and hesitant to begin with and wouldn't go in the water with me.
But Heather pulled her over and got her to play in the water.
Thanks Heather....It was a great time!
On the way home, we stopped by a new found Buffalo friend that the Young's told us about.
Not sure why he is there.....
But he is just along the road and just the cutest little guy.
Elsie was a little nervous to get too close :)
But she says "That's Bill".
Bill is Wuvey's dad.
Of course :)
