I think playing in the snow right now sounds great....expect that we don't have a roof, so that would be bad :)

So turns out....insulation is a big help when it comes to keeping the house cool....

Who wooda thought :)

We have had the air conditioning on all day and it started at about 86 this morning, and is now 91.

Not fun.

Good thing the basement stays pretty cool.

Bob came today and worked a little bit.

He was gone the last two days.

And come to find out he had a little surgery done....because he has bladder cancer!

I can't believe he showed up today.....that guy is a hard worker.

He left early, and will be off tomorrow, but said he would come in for half day on Saturday, and I told him he could just take the day off....but he wants to get some more stuff ready for the trusses to go up on Tuesday.

He really is a great guy.....I hope he is taking the time he needs to recover.

Brent and I worked more on the roof today.

Our 30 yard trash bin got taken and replaced today.

The guy who picked it up was the same one who brought it last week, and he said he was so amazed that we filled that whole thing in such a short time :)

We worked more on the roof.

We need it completely done on by Tuesday for the trusses, and with dad working Friday and Saturday, that just leaves us Monday.

But I think we be able to do it.....

We just need to work earlier in the morning, before it gets SO HOT!!!!!!

The boys fixed my dryer vent today once it got too hot to work outside on the roof.

They extended it from the original outside of the building, and pulled it through the new addition crawl space.

Worked out great :)

Dad and I went and got pizza for the kids....I know, eating out two days in a row :(

I REALLY need to make some freezer meals to pull out on days that I don't have time to get dinner started.

Anyway....

We all ate dinner downstairs where it was cooler and we watched some TV.

A little bit of Americas Got Talent and then got the little ones to bed and now we are watching BIG with the big kids.

It feels good to just sit and not do anything for a little bit :)
