Roof day :)

The guys were sched. to come and vacuum up the insulation at 1:00, so we had the morning to take the rest of the roof off, so they could get to the insulation.

Drew came over to help again.

I took a picture of him helping so he wouldn't feel bad that I didn't include him :)

Thanks so much for all your help Drew.....and Thanks Heather for letting us steal him from your family for a while!

Man, it is a big job, that's for sure!

The main truss guy and our builders came over to day to assess the damage on the trusses.

Looks like whatever was damaged won't be a big deal to fix.

The truss guy kept saying how sorry he was for the bad attitude of the driver yesterday.

After they left, Brent and I got back up on the roof to get a few more spots.

By then it was pretty heated up there.....and the saw kept jamming because of the hot tar up there.

So we got enough done for the insulation guys to get where they needed to, and we will save the rest for the cooler morning hours :)

The guys came with the big vacuum and we decided to get everyone cleaned up and head to the dollar movies and dinner.

I wouldn't say that the kids summer has been super fun yet, lots of working going on :)

So we went and say Rio2 and went to dinner at Red Robin.

It was a nice relaxing time spent with our little family.

We came home and got everyone in jammies.

When dad came in from doing irrigation stuff, I found everyone cuddled around the vent blowing cold air into our 90 degree home :)

They were all playing on the kindle together.

Love my little family :)
