What a great day.
The primary did an amazing job.
The spirit was so strong.....they sang so beautifully.
It really was perfect.
And after the program, the bishop spoke and he did a great job.
He talked about the children sharing their testimonies by singing, and asked the congregation to really allow themselves to feel what they were feeling.
Cassi sang the last song, A Child's Prayer, with a friend of hers, and one of the teachers.
It sounded beautiful.
Porter was super cute up there....he didn't do much singing, but he sure was handsome with his smile :)
And Elsie did it!!!!!
I am almost positive that this is the first primary program she has participated in.
She did so great, and sang really nice and loud.
I could hear her the best when they sang 'This is my beloved Son'.
It was awesome and I wish so badly we could have had a recording of them.
Afterwards, we watched a movie and all the kids got popcorn and water.
It all went really well and we are all very happy that it is over now. :)
*****
After church we took a little nap, well, Porter, Mom and Dad did.
The girls just relaxed.
When we were up and rested, Madi wanted to finish up a little project for YW.
Sewing is a good way to spend the Sabbath, right?
I think it is......
Anyway.
It is a fun project and I will share it when she is done.
Cassi and Daddy made dinner together today.
Another good way to spend the Sabbath, right?
Porter was a super great helper after dinner with scraping off plates.
Elsie cat-sat for us.....
Good kids :)
