Saturday November 9

Whew.....it's been another long day.

We started with a trip to the gym.

Madi and her friend Natalie came.

Madi is a peer tutor for a kid who is in a class with Natalie.

That teacher wanted the kids to challenge themselves in, any challenge they pick, for 6 months.

Natalie anted to lose weight and get in shape.

She asked Madi if she would do it with her.....Madi didn't have to do the assignment, but wanted to join Natalie anyway.

Natalie wanted to go to the Y to workout.....we nixed that plan quick because of the cost and the travel time.

We didn't say Natalie couldn't do it, but we weren't gonna do that for Madi when we could pay $10 a month to a gym just down the road.....

Anyway, they ended up deciding on Body renew, cause it just made sense.

Anyway, I think they plan to go 2-3 times a week.

I had a class this morning, so Brent is the one that kind of got them going on stuff.

I think they did a good job.

Natalie has to document what they do for her final project to turn in at the end....so we got some before pictures of them.

I had to come home and make a bunch of cookies and head to church for the primary program, which was 1-3.

Things went good, I think it will be a nice program.

It will also be nice to have it over with :)

All the kids headed home with a cookie and hopefully that will make them really want to do a great job tomorrow.....

At 3, I ran Elsie to a friends party, and Brent grabbed Porter from the church, Cassi went home with Avery.

Madi had gone earlier (cause she didn't have to do the practice :) with Stacia, Sydney and Carley to the food truck thing downtown.

She had a lot of fun there too.

Anyway, after dropping off Elsie at the party, I went back to the church and we put popcorn in bags and put cute stickers on water bottles for the kiddos tomorrow....we plan to watch a movie during sharing time tomorrow.

We also got some candy bars for the teachers....so they know how very thankful we are for all they do to help with the kiddos.

I picked Elsie up at 4:30 and headed back to the church, cause weren't done yet.....

Finally, after getting all that done, and the church cleaned up after all those kiddos, I headed back home.

Dad had a fire started and thought we could just cook hot dogs for dinner.

Sounded super great to me!

We enjoyed the beautiful weather, Cassi tried out her new gun, and Elsie enjoyed cuddling with Mater.

She loves that doggy.

After dinner and clean up, we came back inside and watched Monsters University.

It was a nice night....until I got a text from Heather....I forgot about her craft night tonight!

Sorry Heather.

My mind was mush by the end of the day today.

All the kids are off to bed and now I just need to iron the church clothes.

 

Oh, I also played with fire pictures to show the kids the fun difference if you change up the shutter speed.
