Thursday July 4

Happy Birthday America!!!
I will have to post more later......(do you believe me, Dussy boy????)
It is just too late right now.
I didn't know what I was gonna do for tonight, cause dad is working.
I wanted to do something fun, but didn't want to be in charge of watching all four kiddos running around in the midst of thousands of people!
Luckily, my friend and neighbor, Stacia, invited us over to her family party.
I thought she was having a few family members over....but it ended up being quite a large party.
Everyone was so nice and friendly and I never once felt out of place there.
People like that are awesome!
So we swam, ate a taco bar and had yummy desserts.
Swam some more.
The moms just sat by the pool and talked while the kiddos swam.
They also had a shaving cream fight....which turned out to be pretty fun for the kids.
During the right, Elsie stayed in the pool with a couple other older kids that didn't want to do the shaving cream fight.
Anyway, she made the best of friends with a girl who was about 14, Rachel.
So cute.
Then we had our own little firework show, but we could also see many of the fireworks around the valley since we were up on the hill.
Pretty fun night.
And the best part, the kids were all so good.
Porter did do some peeing in the grass a couple times......
I guess it's better than in the pool.
But we talked and he went inside the rest of the times....
That boy is such a boy.
That's about it.
*****
The kiddos helped me to cleanup the house this morning.
This pool has proved to be good leverage in getting things done in a timely manner.
I like that :)
*****
Pictures to be added soon.

I took this one earlier, before we left for the party....then forgot to take my camera with me.
So all my pictures are phone pictures!!!!
Oh well.
Stacia took a lot too that I will have to get from her.
Anyway...I don't like this picture cause it is missing dad.
I don't like Holidays without him.
I don't like anything without him.
He had a busy night tonight and I am still waiting (it's 11:45)  to hear from him tonight after he left for a fire.....
Another fire.
Busy day for a super hero....I mean Firefighter :)
