Wednesday July 3

This morning the kids and I met the nursery leader at church and we washed the nursery toys.

The kids thought it was pretty neat to be able to help out like that.

We were there for about an hour then we headed home and cleaned up a bit.

Cassi had a friend coming at noon.

It's been on the calendar for a week and a half.

So she has been very excited about it.

They swam pretty much the whole time she was here.

I feel like I was non stop today, but I also fee like I didn't get anything done.

I don't like days like that.

I also wasn't very patient today.

I wonder if it's cause I didn't run my full 6 miles today, just 3.

But I was so tired from yesterday, I ran 5 but then went and did the hour turbo class at the gym.

I was hurting.

But a good hurt.

Just had no energy to hit it hard this morning.

Maybe I shouldn't take a break....running must get all my aggression out :)

I am so much nicer when I feel better.

So, I will be back to 6 miles tomorrow.

So I can be a better mom :)

I wrote a little Buffalo book for Elsie last year, and wanted to get it printed in a book for her birthday.

Well, I didn't get it done in time so I thought this year would be a great year to do it, since she is still in love with Buffalos.

Again, I fear I am running out of time to do the illustrations that I want AND get it printed AND back in time for her birthday.

I may have to make a crappy quick printed version for her actual birthday and then order a nice one to come later....

But then again, it might end up being next years present.

I have 17 days.

We will see what happens.
