Saturday December 15

The kiddos got some little ornaments from the little elf this morning.
So they had to start painting right away.

Then we headed outside to start cutting wood.

Madi is such a great little worker.
She just keeps going.

So does dad....
Just keeps going.

Port helped out for a little while, then we had lunch and I put him down for a nap.
And Cassi stayed inside to help with Elsie.
Elsie is feeling better.
She slept really good last night.
I hope that she is good again tonight.
Her little voice is mostly gone.
It is kinda cute...her squeaky little voice :)
*****
Our 12 days of Christmas tonight was to go a hide $ bills at the $ store.
The kids thought it was pretty exciting.
Before we hid the money....the kids did some sibling shopping.
They each went around, I had Elsie and Dad had Port and they picked out something for the others.
They each actually found some pretty good stuff.
We did this last year too, and it is a fun little thing for them to do.
Once we did that shopping they went and hid the baggies.
Some in toys, some in candy....
It was very exciting.
And they tried to be secretive....except Cassi.
She tried to hang in right in front of a lady so she could see it, but the lady didn't notice and walked off, so she moved it to a different spot.
It was pretty cute watching them.

We are all enjoying these fun little daily activities.
Sure warms my heart.
We do still do a lot of fighting...in the car and such.
But maybe after a couple more days that will stop.
Maybe.
*****
We got the kids home and Brent and I decided it was time for us to have a little date.
So while the kids watched a Christmas movie, and Madi babysat, we went to try a new restaurant....luie and ling...or something like that.
Not impressed.
We both wished we would have gone to that place we went last time Fusion.
We kinda felt guilty that we didn't.
It was such a sweet little place....and it was good.
This place was not very good.
Anyway, then we random errands at Winco.
Madi did a great job babysitting.
She sure is growing up.
She said Elsie started coughing and then crying and almost threw up...but Madi got her to calm down and then she sent us this picture.
Cute little bug.
(We left my phone so we could communicate easily)

So much fun! Your kids will remember doing this for Christms.

I'm glad Elsie is feeling better.
