Sunday May 10-Monday May 11 (add pictures)

We had a fun short camping trip.

Dad planned it for mother's day and it's just what I needed.

A little fresh air, no service, no TV, no homework packets.

It was pretty great.

I have more pictures, just all in my big camera.

I am sure someday I will add them 😂

Dad came home Sunday morning and we loaded up or stuff and headed to givens hot springs.

It was a little more run down then we remembered, but it has been many years since we have been there!

It's sad that all the trees are dying and grass is dying.

But we don't a nice little spot away from others in a little grove of trees and it was just perfect.

We got stuff set up and had hot dogs for lunch.

Then we played some car games, set up hammocks, went for a little dip in the very hot, hot springs.

Then back at camp we made a yummy BBQ drumstick dinner, with amazing potatoes and corn.

Then Elsie and Cassi made the peach cobbler.

It was so so yummy!!!

We took walks and played games and talked around the campfire.

Then we made snores.

Elsie and Cassi braved the tent.

I was so proud of Elsie staying all night.

She was a rock star camper.

Walking all over, collecting rocks.

She just had such a fun time.

Porter was a little sad/mellow yesterday.

He was much better today, but tonight he's got all kinds of worries bringing him down.

I wish so badly we had Dr Allie to talk to.

She knew my kids so well and loved them!

We still haven't found anyone to go to for pediatric stuff.

There will just never be a replacement.

And right now is not the best time to try and find a match.

So I don't know.

I'm glad he talks to dad and I about his worries... But it's still heart breaking.

This whole covid thing has made his anxiety so much worse.

Anyway, everyone slept pretty good.

We woke up to Elsie and can sitting at the campu camp fire that can started.

Pretty cool kids!

We made some bacon, eggs and pancakes for breakfast and started packing up.

Madi and Logan had to leave early because Logan had to work today.

But we didn't leave much after then.

When we got home after picking up camp and I noticed the garden.

My black plastic must have blown up over my plants and created an oven on them!!!

I am so sad 😭

I hope they can recover, but they are burnt and it makes me sa so sad!

They were doing so well!!!!

We rested a little and then we all got to with unloading and cleaning the trailer out.

Then if course we worked on homework packets.

I feel recharged and rest for the week..... But for sure need to plan another camping trip soon!!!!
