Saturday May 9

Ducks did great through the night.

The are pretty happy in their little home and loving the attention they are getting.

The kids have been hanging out with them all day.

I am tired.

I ran 13.1 miles today with a 8:07/mile.

I left like two hours later than I wanted to, so it was pretty warm while I was running.

I usually take an extra piece of fun with me when I run so I can swap out. 

At about 6 miles I was ready for a new piece, so I spit mine out.... But then my other piece must have fallen out of my pocket along the way 😭

So I told myself, it's okay, you can do this.

I kept running and about two more miles I was dieing of thirst!!!

Without any gum, my mouth was drying out fast!

So I called Madi and she met me with water and gum 😂

So then I could go the rest of the way.

When I got home, we all jumped in the car and went swimming at the Morgan's.

We were there for a long time.

It was such a beautiful day!

Porter and Logan got sunburned.

Port got sunburned because he forgot to put in sunscreen (he was there before I got there).

And Logan got burned because he's pretty fair skinned!

It was funny to see Madi basking in the sun and Logan covering up as much as he could 😂😂

This evening I finished up my oil painting on Logan. 

I don't think it's too bad, it for really look like Logan 😂😂😂

But not bad for a first try at oil portraiture!!!

Dad will come home in the morning and we get to go camping.

I'm excited ❤️
