Monday April 8

As soon as Porter left for school, I was able to go take a quick run.
Vern and I were going to the school at 9:30 to hang art for Art Gallery Night this Thursday.
So I needed to get done and showered before that.
It was actually really nice outside, a little bit of sprinkle, but it was pretty warm.
It did make my lungs burn a bit, but I also think it helped to shake loose some extra gunk I have in there!
Then we spent the next 3 hours hanging art :)
I think it turned out good.
We still need to set up the sculptures they made and that will be in the gym, so we can't set that up until Thursday.
When I came home, I ran some errands, gas, bank and grocery shopping.
I picked up Elsie and dropped the groceries off at home.
Then Elsie and I went to her speech therapy.
Back at home, we had hamburgers for dinner once Madi got home from work.
Madi has been going over and over her Senior Project, which she presents tomorrow.
She will do great.
I told her I think she needs to add a video clip from her wisdom teeth removal anesthesia rant about sharks getting finned, since that is her subject :)
She doesn't think it is a good idea, ha ha....
She will do great!!!!
Dad and Porter also had to go do a check-in for his Pine-wood derby car.
That race is tomorrow.
The car looks pretty cool!
Porter and Dad have worked together, watched so many videos and figured stuff out.
Finding out what the best shapes are and where the weight should be and why it should be there.
It is all pretty scientific!
And I love that they did it together :)
Dad won't be able to see the races tomorrow, so that is a bummer!!!
But we will record it for him.
